I'm sure it will be - how are the arrangements coming along. Guessing plenty of subs are needed due to drop outs- I wonder how many people said they would play last time and then couldn't ?

Are there plans to play for charity again ?

One of the mates has already pledged 50 quid for every goal I score

He's a right tight git so it shows how much confidence he's got in my footballing skills

Hope I get a Hatrick now just to wind him up

Can anyone remember the previous scores?

First year was definitely 9-3 to England

The second year there was a dispute about the exact score but I think it eventually got agreed that England won 8-6. Chaz might be able to put me right if I've got that one wrong. Anyway England won both that's all that counts :)

Haha these amateur games have a habit of heading into the 40s, he could be in for an expensive game (as its for charity you'd probably find we'd be willing to let you walk 4 or 5 in ;))

    • I agree but anyone under Rodrigo would be a sub in reality, that day would sell out in under an hour whoever is subbing, in which case Wolf Alice would make a lot of sense   The more unrealistic part of the scenario at this point is Rodrigo headlining
    • All you can say is...     If he couldn't convince nations that really would've benefitted from the short-term hit of an up-front £50mil payment by this time next year, what hope did he have?   Guess we'll now just have to monitor and see if this could derail Infantino's plans to be re-elected FIFA President next year.
    • Spider-Man: Brand New Day   Highlight was a bloke reacting to the post-credit scene by going "Holy f**k it's Tobey Maguire!" despite the scene having no reference to him at all. Which made my close-to-full screening of the film laugh a lot.   Film was pretty good. It was interesting as much as an exploration of the ramifications of the end of No Way Home and being about isolationism and male loneliness, which I thought it actually did quite well. Though I do ponder if I liked it as much as the other 3 Tom Holland Spider-Man movies. Sadie Sink was good tbf, while I also liked Jon Bernthal as Punisher, enough that I might go watch his Disney+ shows.   Seem to have had a Marvel kick recently having also watched Thunderbolts and Shang-Chi, both of which I thought were pretty good.
    • Wolf Alice won't get headliner for Reading either, they will sub if they play, that is where their level has stopped I feel. Both TFG and Skyvip for the big shows this year was just a stretch too far. Every headliner this year is bigger than them too I'd say.   Agree with Capaldi I don't think Yungblud will be at Reading. I would guess Bludfest 3 or Download.
