sjseabass
Oh damn, I got all excited then. No Everything Everything or Billy Talent like rumoured.
Yellow_Fellow
Whoever analysed it as lacking the middle ground after the first announced (think it was Yellow) was spot on. There remains are a lot of 'new' bands in pretty high slots and it just looks strange.
the wonderwhy
Heh. Yeah I have a feeling the new booker is causing some problems with a total lack of experience with a festival THIS size.
SoLoCo
True, but not worth £200. I'm so disappointed. This is the first time I've actually considered selling my ticket. Can't believe what they've done to this festival.
Yellow_Fellow
Out of interest, does anyone know what other festivals he's done? Another (slightly) interesting point to note, the FR seems to have been booked earlier this year...

Areophobia
The one huge redeeming factor of the announcement is that SOAD & NIN may get a full 90 minutes each. Which would be great.
Dukeeyyy
As much as i am really happy with the lineup in essence, it doesn't feel like an R+L lineup, especially in comparison to the original 2008 lineup....

kev1664
I would LOVE this to happen - but it won't, will it? Its never happened before has it? Or will it be a one off as both are potential Headliners elsewhere and thus deserve a longer slot...?

Areophobia
Well previous years have only had 9 per day when the 2hr headliner was on and other days were 10. 2011 had 9 each day but there was co headliners and an extra long slot for madness 1 day, muse the two hour set another day and I think they just balanced the 3rd day. 2012 had 9 each day, but foos and te cure had extra long sets and Florence got an extended sub slot. So by deduction with both biffy and green day looking to have longer slots (like cure and foos last year) that would suggest 9 bands, but there is only 8 so 30-40 minutes extra to fill which I'd imagine would go to SOAD & NIN, technically it'd be like having two headliner sets. Ill be knackered after SOAD though.
kev1664
This means more of NIN in the dark too!
Com Truise
Clashfinders are just based on times from the previous years at this early stage. They will be completely inaccurate until probably the week of the festival and are made by people such as us on the forums to give everyone a slight idea.
