Pieandapint - Don't patronise me, I have no need for you to explain drainage principles. I have already explained urine solute principles if you'd have cared to check. I have explained there would be limited to no impact of urine of USG <1.005 on the environment as it borders on pure water. The environmental issue occurred when people were pissing all day long, in hedges, with varying degrees of concentrated urine and that situation is obviously an issue. With the improvement of toilet facilities, including the fairly recent addition of urinals rather than queueing toilets, this has obviously been remedied. The odd isolated incident has no effect. The place is a dairy farm for christ sakes, one of the biggest polluters on the world stage.

Redmosquito - I pack super light during the day, always wear shorts and t-shirt. Having a poncho sorts me out if it is cold or wet. I'd never consider going in a bottle unles I was embedded for a headliner. At which case it is is probably cold. I've put my poncho on to have a pee in a bottle, then kept it on as I needed too. It's not a bad plan - the poncho choice I mean. I'll let you tread your own path on the pissing issue :)

No, I wont change the record. For as long as anyone defends pissing on the ground, I will tell them that it is wrong. That probably involves making the same point repeatedly - and least for as long as it takes for the slow of comprehension to get the point.

Thanks to Funkydenz for actually hiding a genuinely useful and informative post on the subject in amongst this a page or so ago.

Apart from that, the name calling is demeaning to all parties.

I really think it is time to call time on this thread.

I almost agree. Those circumstances won't happen for me again as I prepare now, in the knowledge that my weak bladder coupled with being in a place that would take me ten minutes minimum to get to a toilet would have led to me having an accident. That was in the past however, and now I know not to find myself in that position. If I choose to have a bottle for me to piss in as a sacrifice for my location, then that's my choice and you can't tell me I'm doing any harm, because I'm not.

There's only one dumbass consistently appearing throughout this thread and in case you're confused Superscally, I'm not referring to myself.

I'll say it one last time, mainly because I have no wish to give you any further opportunity to keep repeating your misguided opinion. Anybody that condones piss pouring, dropping, letting it free flow in the middle of a crowd of people is at best that word you applied to me. And that's being kind to you as you're obviously incapable of seeing reason beyond that of your own selfish attitude.

You may not be, in fact I'd be surprised if you were, but you're obviously incapable of extracting relevant points from a debate, so make of that what you will.

Doing what I've done twice may be seen to have been selfish, but I in no way planned to end up doing it and I made a call when not fully in charge of my reason. I'm sure you've never done anything differently when you've had a few. If you've never drunk at all, then fair enough. If you say you've never regretted anything or done anything selfish then I'll call you a liar. I apologise for my previous actions. However, I've altered my behaviour so if in that situation again I won't have a negative impact on others, only myself. That is not selfish. Get that through your head. I also said I didn't personally mind if someone made that decision that they felt they had to take (even if that involved pissing on the floor), as long as it wasn't pre-meditated, wasn't repeated and didn't upset other people who could see or come into contact with what was happening. If I saw it and thought they'd made every effort to ensure this, I wouldn't be overjoyed, but I wouldn't harp on about it. I have and will continue to challenge people if their behaviour is genuinely offensive to me and others.

Now I'm not going to resort to any further name calling and have only done so in this thread when people have called me something first, but lets just say that your arguing that I AM selfish is a product of your inability to read and interpret arguments properly. When I wake in the morning, I won't be selfish. You may have a longer way to go before you can say you can critically review the literature.

I pissed in a bottle watching the white stripes. I was pretty hammered and thought I'd go awol if i left my friends , I did it inside my coat, nobody saw and I binned it afterwards. It wasnt ideal, im not proud of it but nobody came to any harm

Another thing I cannot understand are the blokes that make the effort to go to a toilet/urinal and and then find I bit of a queue so piss up the outside of said urinal. This then turns the ground around the toilets into a swamp of piss. Animals the lot of them.

Bloody hell, started reading this thread for some genuine advice. Seldom seen such a vicious thread. As a woman pissing in a crowd would not be an option for the more demure of us but really dont see anything wrong with blokes descreetly pissing in a bottle . Some of the opinions though are verging on fascist and think I would rather have a cup of piss thrown at me than be unfortunate enough to find myself standing next to some of the Pol Pot's on here. :pogranichnik:
