I take it you can get back to the car as often as you want to resupply/charge phones etc, this is one of the reasons for paying for emperors fields, but remember reading something yesterday on the official site about requesting passouts in advance??

The emperors was separated from the carpark by a thin tarmac road, because you were past the wristband checkpoint you were able to travel to your car and back whenever you wanted. No turnstiles or anything. Just walk over the road !

We still don't know where emperors will be this year or what the camping layouts will be like as they were changed last minute last year due to the planned field flooding. I'm sure wherever it is will have the usual set up

Its nowhere near as much hard work as most other festivals! Queues at the bars are generally nominal, stages are very close together.

Just realised exactly 2 weeks today I'll be there, pitched and starting on the tinnies. Schweet!

Anyone got any experience with the Bell tents, we've booked one but i'm not sure if we need Thursday entry tickets or if they'd be included as tent will be set up anyway?

I'd imagine they'd still say we need them but i can't seem to get any reply from the emails i've sent.

Just a quick question not been before and drivin from Manchester. The site says come off M6 AT J39 which takes you through Shap on the A6, Isn't it quicker to come off the M6 at J40 or is that closed to festival traffic.

You'll find they take a while to respond due to the amount of mail they get on the run up to the festival. They'll get back to you eventually. If its an easy question then try asking them a question on a facebook post, they tend to respond quicker on there

No bar in the emperors but you can walk through to the one in general camping easily enough, there will be a few food stalls and the general shop next to the bar as well I would guess.

Couple of minutes stroll from emperors to the bar

What are peoples thoughts on this...

Last year we arrived on thurs early doors and queued about an hour to get in. While in the queue we had to keep stopping then picking up our very heavy bags again, so this year I was thinking of just queueing with my tent and beer then setting up and going back for my bag?

Surely this wont be an issue? Only problem maybe that they need to search my bag when I go in second time even with my wristband.

    • Skylink is 24 hours... But the skylink will drop you off at Pegasus business Park or EMA (East Midlands Airport) where you'll have to use the Download shuttle link, which isn't 24 hours. The last shuttle from the Download transport hub to EMA is 12:15 TrentBarton / Local bus info here: https://www.trentbarton.co.uk/download2026   Skylink Derby / Leicester / Loughborough timetable here: https://www.trentbarton.co.uk/services/skylinkderby  Shuttle timetable here: https://www.trentbarton.co.uk/userfiles/hotel.pdf If you miss the shuttle, which is very doubtful, you'll just have to find another way to EMA / Pegasus business park, maybe a taxi. You could even walk to EMA from the Download transport hub, wouldn't take too long. Just make sure you use the airport's 'circular path' instead of the dangerous roads.  I walk the circular path often, it's nice and easy. I would post instructions but I very much doubt you'll miss the shuttle, and if you do, it isn't hard to work out. The footpath is clearly signposted from directly opposite / across the road from where the download map has labelled "Pickup and Drop Off Exit."
    • So for Harry Styles it was actually a plastic bag that basically blocks the view of the front and back cameras. You can still use the phone screen. It's much easier than using lockers, especially for people leaving for the last train etc    I think it's basically reliant on the threat of security kicking you out if you start filming.
    • Hey, does anybody have a joining link for the WhatsApp group plz? I know the secret sets get posted there but have a new phone and number
    • Do you think they'll release today's cupra pulse lineup?
    • I had a great time yesterday and came to the conclusion that everytime (or, more accurately, both times) I didn't have a great time at Primavera, it was water-related. Either there was too much of it (Thursday 2026) or there wasn't enough (Thursday 2022, week 1).
