Emperors field ?

I heard certain area was rowdy a group of about 30 took over a section and turned it into camp compound wind breakers giant flags and such things think they were from Lancashire!

Whod run a festival eh ? Damned whatever you do ! Can't say I found the emperors noisy last year, never spoke to anyone that did. There were a few people chatting on but its a festival not a library

the thing that really annoyed me last year was people smiling and generally having fun, especially kids, youths, the middle aged and the welsh.

Emperors field tickets have now sold out, hope anyone that wanted em got in early

Ha ha and now as predicted the emperors tickets are on sale on ebay for £65 a pop with £5.50 postage !

Someone ordered me a couple just after half 12. Looks like my timing was pretty decent as a friend who tried 2 minutes after me missed out

Got my Emperors tickets,but have come across another issue,the father-in-law owns and drives a small VW camper,doesn't sleep in it,just uses it to haul all the tents,beer,chairs etc in it,sent an e-mail to organisers stating this and been told they'll be put in a seperate field even after purchasing Emperors field tickets and is now expected to fork out another £65,I wont be best pleased if they're sent to another field, the in-laws come in handy for transporting the huge tent and my Strongbows,they rustle up a mean breakfast bap and look after the kids while she who cant be named gets ready and puts her war paint on, also asked why the cost for Emperors is now per person rather than per vehicle and the answer given was that we have our own entrance to the arena and we can use Pootoopia for free,more showers and our very own campsite manager,still think its pretty steep,if I dont have a crap all weekend do you think I might get a part refund?

I can't see why you can't just park your van in the dedicated emperor carpark as long as you do not attempt to sleep in it !

Think between yourselves and the festival you have got your wires crossed , leave it a day or 2 calm down and ring the festival office , sometimes you can't get your point across by email but do keep calm , from my own experience they are more than approachable .

If their not planning on staying in the van and are happy to park it on the emperors field carpark i cant see where any issues would come from. If they fork out for the ticket they wont be allowed to camp with you's

Anyone any ideas if there's anything different planned for the Emperors this year ? I heard there was gonna be someone In charge of the field, but in terms of facilities is it gonna be the same as last year ? Is there a bar in the emperors this year ? I know there have been complaints about noise in the emperors after dark last year, Maybes a bar area with a fire would attract people away from their tents.

Only trouble they'd have I suppose is that who's gonna buy the beer if they have a tent full of the stuff ! I think it would be a good congregation area though and would Maybes help with the noise.

If the bar had a couple of real ales a nice warm cider at night reasonably priced sausage and bacon butties could be a winner !

Any way I don't camp it's pap ! The wife keeps saying shall we get a bell tent they are only 295 and I know you hate setting up! She's of her box I hate every aspect of camping its not for me !

There was somewhere to buy tea an coffee an breakfast buttys the last few years from what I remember, I usually take my own so I've never used em.

Not sure if there was a specific emperors manager last year

Are campervans normally in the emporers field? I know there weren't last year but wondered if that was due to the conditions.

The campervans will be in a different field to the emperors, not sure where the campervan or emperors field will be on site as there was talk of moving them.

They were in their own field next to the Emperor field last year split into three areas, loud, family and quiet with their own toilets and cafe. Not sure about the parking but would expect that to be included and a similar set up this year.
