Listening to this album non stop, it's brilliant.

Problem is, the casual listener wont have the patience to get in to this album. There are no songs on it that will capture their tiny minds. There is no One Day Like This type anthem (thank god!) so I think this band will forever been under-appreciated by the masses. And thank god. I'd much rather go see them at venues like brixton than shit holes like the O2 arena.

I'm sure their bank balances would think the opposite though...

They are defo on the up and could take off further IMO. Sure just here in Ireland they have always played small venues (max ~1500) other than festivals, but now with these gigs are playing the Point Depot (O2 Dublin) in Autumn and it holds nearly 15,000! 10 times as many! They probably will not sell out, but that still says a lot about the popularity of them and how its on the up.

Love the opening number... I Should Live in Salt (well I love the chorus...)

Graceless is just classic - no arguments can be had there.

I like the simplicity of I Need My Girl, although I can understand TN fans being annoyed by title. Don't Swallow the Cap and This is the Last Time great too.

Plus it's by far the best quality of vinyl I've ever got from TN. Which makes me a happy panda.

Finally have my album and have listened to it three times so far. It is beautiful and, what's more, I think it will be a grower so I can see myself loving it more with further listens. Hard to place it yet but I'd say better than High Violet but maybe not better than Alligator or Boxer.

So far, 'I Need My Girl' and 'Graceless' stand out. The first one especially stopped me in my tracks. And 'Don't Swallow The Cap'.

God I love this band. Do I want them halfway up the Pyramid playing to an indifferent crowd though? Not sure. I'd much rather have them on a smaller stage. Any chance of that at all?

Might be a bit one-note. National > Costello > Scream > Stones. I wouldn't be surprised to see them 5th with Prof Green above them to break it up a bit.

Of course, I wouldn't be guessing like this if Glastonbury had bothered to tell us the running order
