Randomly watched a 2 hr sky arts program the other night about Bat out of Hell

In all fairness it was awesome, the live footage was great he was going beserk on stage. A genuine 'performance' as oposed to just 'singing'.

Ive drank about 6 beers and just spotified the big tracks from it, having a bit of a half cut guilty singalong at present

A quick google reveals that Meatloaf is playing a farewell Euro tour throughout April/May. Couple of his bigger singles, then playing bat out of hell in full

Hardly syncs up perfect datewise but anyone reckon he could feature??

On a side note has anyone seen him live recently/ever. Can he still blast a tune out or is his voice shot to bits?

One of his tour dates is the O2 which would suggest some people are still keen???

Love the meat to play if only for memories sake. Back when i was sixteen first dabbling in narcotics i spent an unforgetable night at a friends house listening to bat out of hell, first getting it on with my friends mum then later in the evening with her. Hot sunday afternoon playing the legends slot, i could lay back and relive my youth in my mind :giverose:

Really???

Headliner or nothing???

I was expecting this post to be slammed and told the car park would be too good for him ha ha

Absolutely no chance theyd give him the headline, but what about the legends slot then?

P.S 'backtoblack' which one was better then? ha ha

I have no idea if he can turn that kind of performace out these days TBH

If he got announced as a headliner im pretty sure that people would tear the farm to bits in protest

As much as bat out of hell would be immense, at the same time i dont think it would be right at legends slot/sundown, it probably is more of a late night affair

I could've sworn I read that he retired a mere few weeks ago, a quick google (I actually use Ecosia, and you should too) proves that I in fact did not. I also noticed that like every website gets his real name wrong, His Name Is Robert Paulson, everybody knows that. Anyway, I'd like to see him, but I don't think he'll play, and I'm a vegetarian anyway.

    • Was volunteering at the Women’s Cricket World Cup at Southampton yesterday. Was great fun.
    • Definitely see this as being 'weak' on paper but could see a few bumps up from previous sets at Download (Don Broco, Neck Deep etc).
    • Very different in terms of time of game,  yet remember how excited I was before the first game in Euro 2016 having grown up not sure I would ever see wales in an international tournament. That day scraped a win against Slovakia and was just happy to see wales score and win at a tournament, little did I know we would finish in the top 4. Hope Scottish fans get the same experience.
