He was also boasting about being right about Kiss not being big enough to headline festivals any more when there was a rumour they were headlining the second stage at Download, but that rumour appears to be rubbish as they've announced a gig in Prague on that night.

In fairness mate, I didn't try to take all the credit for it. I said I called it, I didn't say that know one else did. Like I said, it's nice to have guessed it right but I'm not that fussed, to me, it was a given.

And I stick by this in terms of the festivals that were being discussed with them headlining. I didn't say they were going to headline 2nd Download at all, I said they weren't enough to headline the main, Neil on this forum, someone who's music knowledge and know how you'd probably how to say outweighs me and a lot on here agreed with.

I have never said that you did say Kiss were going to headline the second stage. Why can't you understand that? I said you used the story as 'proof' that you were right that they wouldn't headline and were crowing about it, but now the story appears to be bullshit. I also agree that they probably aren't big enough, but I wasn't running my mouth off like you were that a story which now turns out to be probably false 'proved' it.

It's a non starter, I dunno why the fuss, All I said was, if they were to play, it wouldn't be headliner. It was agreed by someone in the know. Bullshit or not had nothing to do with it.

This is true gazza, you're a fun poster to read and a good member of this little community we have but the reason you get hassle is because you feel the need to tell everyone that you called it. Nobody likes a show off, especially when they're wrong so many other times.
