So they went to Glasto, asked to play and then when they were told the fee they said "err actually. Mick Fleetwood is busy washing his hair that day"?

I still think the Beebs coverage and follow on album sales, (2.5m watched Beyonce last year for example) offsets the "cost" of taking less of a fee.

I understand the "jam now" argument from a lot of these old school bands who are used to being fucked over by dodgy promoters in the 70s in back arse America, but surely a modern manager can explain it to them?

Which is why I have more faith in bands like the Stones and the Mac playing, as opposed to pre BBC coverage.

Get him in solo. Fleetwood Mac played Dublin a couple of years ago to a sold out O2 and Green played the following night in a club and there was no comparison apparently. He was fantastic. If a little.... off......Brian Wilson style.

This seems to be gathering some momentum. Rolling Stones and Fleetwood Mac both headlining, could it happen? Surely if it does then we will end up with a third headliner like Mumford or Vaccines. With emily's comments regrading keeping a balance with heritage, legend and new bands
