I know they are placeholder prices, but I wouldnt be stunned if the price was around there. IIRC, the 360 was £379-£399 and the PS3 was over £400 at launch. That was obviously 8 years ago.

I did at first think the 90 quid FIFA could be real but its likely just Amazon covering themselves.

I'm not so sure on the consoles being dearer, with basically common PC parts and not really super new tech going into it. I can see see launch prices staying at around 400 quid. They are also going after the casuals to so it has to have at least a lower cost basic box.

Sony have confirmed they won't be using any DRM, If a individual game company such as EA wants to include such a feature in their software its up to them.

Anyone know how much the skyrim dlc is going for now? Only I notice the goty edition is 40 quid, and last I looked the two main ones were about 17 quid each... Assuming I read that right at the time!

I've been using my brother's Xbox copy since I lost my ps3 copy, and had been debating the dlc, but if it costs about the same to get the goty edition, might as well do that instead...

Skrim Legendary Edition is £30 on Amazon. The two main DLC packs are 1,600 points each, so you may as well just buy the legendary edition.

Haven't played a game in ages.

Loads of games have come and gone. Games I was stoked for and then just didn't give a shit about. Bioshock Infinite, Assassins Creed 3, Mass Effect 3 - played none of them.

Last game I got properly into was Arkham City.

I think I'm done.

I started playing Marvel Heroes at the weekend (Got the Black Widow founders pack for early access ).

It's fairly decent standard MMO type affair but if you like Marvel its worth some of your time (it's free 2 play), seems to be mainly set up for promoting the films though and obviously all the popular characters cost $$.

Weird PC controls though, you have just W to go forward and direct your character with the mouse (you can also left click).... and oh as you play as Marvel "heroes" there's not much to customize really.

Neat if you got some spare time on your hands but don't go out your way for it.

Panzer Dragoon successor could be good but the one on xbox [erm one?] was awful, it was soulless

Titanfall looked good, thought it would be multi but just Xboxone.

Witcher 3 looked good too but thats multiplatform

As a lot of the bigger games are coming out September - November time on the 360.. I don't want to buy GTA 5 then get it again 2 months later. That's if I get the Xbox one though.

its all over for me tbh. nothing piqued my interest other than dead rising 3, which appeared to get the best reaction from the audience. it was all fps, fps, fps, fps, quirky game, fps, fps, fps, rts, fps, fps, fps, halo, fps, fps, fps, MECHS!!11!!!! (yawn, it was actually another fps)

I'm prolly gonna buy a slim, cos they will probably drop in price due to the shitty new design for the 360. The next gen" can ram it afaic, no more info on drm, 2nd hand, call home etc.

I expected that price, when people gladly pay over £600 for a smartphone, its a bit rich to complain about paying that for a console and (its not a cheap bit of kit, even though it is satan) kinect, even if it is hobbled.

yeah, I grabbed it earlier, you need gold though, and you have to buy it through xbox.com and choose "pay with points"

I heard that Sony will launch at the lowest possible price and will launch with a years PS+ included and try to get everyone hooked on it and make money that way, its a very smart strategy and could explain why Microsoft are finally 'upgrading' their Gold to give you two free games.

If Sony were smart then PS+ would continue to include Vita games, and then add PS4 compatible PS1, 2 AND 3 games until PS4 has been out a while, im guessing some new indie game will launch onto the service and if they really want to push it they should also include their film catalogue and music library and add titles from that each month too.

Its an advantage they have over Microsoft
