As promised load of new acts have been announced. Not any headliner as it will be announced in about 14 days.

Not everybody is happy as expected, but can any other festival match the weather, the beach, the atmosphere ?

Come on lads, lets be honest, 50.000 fibers have 50.000 different tastes.

Not one yet, has been dissapointed to be in benicassim on past editions

I was told something crappy earlier, my friend in Spain said that they were saying on Spanish news that this year would be the last Beni, due to the amount of money they owe. It went to administrators at the end of 2012, but was saved. Has anyone else heard anything? Gutted if that's the case

That is a matter of opinión. Till 2009 it was owned by spanish business brothers. It brings to the Benicassim economy about €20 million per year. Last year ticket sales was around €5 milion,.... how much the 35.000 + spend in drinks and food inside the arena, has not been published, but a lot of cash. The company that owns most of the land where the festival takes place, also owns: Aquarama, Villacamp, and the three major hotels in Benicassim, (it is also the company that is owned most of the money by the current festival owners) the local council, the provintial and regional goverment, all support and help the FIB in the tune of €1 million..............so.. one way or another the Benicassim Festival will go ahead this year and next years, with the current owners or not

for how things work in England at least, turnover and local economic benefits aren't anything to do with it, nor is who owns the land where an event owned by someone else takes place.

Simple fact is that they've failed to find a buyer (at a price they'd accept, anyway). That tells more of a story than all you list.

It might survive, it might not; personally I think it probably will, if it really is profitable (it might not be, the statements made might be untrue).

Hi all, how do you know how long transfers from beni to airports because obviously you need to know so they kind of match with your flight times, if that makes sense? cheers for the help! Be a first time beni goer but working out everything before committing!

PS any other ways of getting from beni to airports bar shuttle? cheers!

    • A question has crossed my (questionable) mind;   Has the size of the Green Fields remained the same as other areas have expanded / been added on to, since say, 2014 (the last time that I attended)? Are they 'lost' within, or well attended?    That's actually two questions. The second one just slipped in at the end by taking advantage of my lack of means to stop it.
    • I'd say the same about Kylie.    Annie would be awesome, Duran not so much, and on the issue of them wanting a beanie slot, that probably rules out a fair few others who I think would fit the bill very well... and are legitimately more entitled to a headline, and/or too expensive.   Was just about to suggest Chaka Khan, but see @Gnomicide has beat me to it!    What about someone like Bryan Ferry?
