Seconded. He really would be my dream dj booking at Glastonbury. Around early June so a small glimmer of hope.

Seriously nice!

I'm sure i posted the Jimmy J/Cru-L-T remix somewhere on here. That's a banger too.

Have got every mix mate, even the new ones. The one you posted is imo the best mix. Reminds me of Bowlers and Maximes

Did they sample the original? The Jimmy J mix has more vocals. One of my favourite tracks ever. 6 days on the flipside aint too bad either.

The Jimmy J tune is nothing to do with Mix Factory. They must have just used the vocal.

With someone else singing it? Either way its a banger.

I used to go to Slammin' Vinyl records in Kingston, Jimmy J owned it.

Mix Factory are from Oldham. Have not heard the Jimmy J tune, will give it a listen. Slammin Vinyl, not that is a blast from the past.

Never got to Bagleys. Everyone was a bit housier up here to be fair. I love my 92 piano breakbeat stuff and the early rave stuff. It started getting silly after that. Was never into jungle or Happy Hardcore, although I did buy quite a bit (Slipmatt Dubs, Dj sy, Ham and Brisk)

Not House BTW, moments in basslines though

Its a house classic. One of my fave ever tunes the Manic one. The flip of Take Me Away now is ace as well.

Did you go to the parties Philip Salon did there, they were amazing, it was an excellent venue.

Bagleys reminds me of Ratpack for some reason.

thanks for that! superb track. where do i listen to more like this?

reminds me of humate - love stimulation although that is more trancey

Google Sequins Blackpool, Maximes - Back To The Old Skool, Life @ Bowlers, Moggy @ Hippos, Dancing A Dream @ Wigan Pier. Or put Back In Time - Mike Stewart into YouTube.

    • Annie Lennox could be the one to unite the whole forum, nobody has a bad word to say about her, even noted curmudgeon Skip 😄 I'd probably even amble along for a bit meself, and i'm also a miserable sod
    • If the below link works - thats interesting.   While I don't particularly put much stock in that account as a source (never seen it before though, tbf), and I can pick a hole or two (see below) in what he says - the timing of it is a week before I had the Fontaines '27 stadium info (same stadium he says on there, Tottenham). The info, or part of it, matches up.   Holes I'd pick: I'd have to watch again but I THINK he says 'end of year' for Tottenham - not possible, for a number of reasons, though he's probably just got his words mixed up there. It's Summer '27, or that's what I've been told. He also says Glastonbury is/would be based on how the album does. That doesn't stack up to me, unless it was a 2028 thing. I suppose that could stack up, but still seems a bit of an odd approach. I would personally still expect it to be 2027 alongside the stadium gigs, IF they are gonna do it, though I've still not got a Scooby when the album is gonna drop, only that the tour is due for Spring (or early) next year.   Interesting, nonetheless.   https://www.instagram.com/reel/DaOB3Q9qkwW/
    • I was hoping that they would just do a tour like they were set to in 2020, rather than having Download as their UK appearance. If they are at DL, I would be surprised to see them headline. I think they sub under Deftones or SOAD
    • well, we might know by the end of next month if they drop the lineup early again
