Was a bit concerned with the LTJ/FF clash, but I've seen LTJ before so I reckon I should FF it up. If I'm pissed it will be amazing. :D

Hoping for Feeder on the Festival Republic stage, but will be miserable if they clash with Kasabian. I'll have to see Kasabian as I've never seen them live and I've seen Feeder twice, but I bloody LOVE Feeder live. :(

Paramore vs Subways. Will be paramore. Just shows what i will do to get a decent position for the Cure.

Monsters of Men vs PABH. will be monsters of men, saw PABH last year.

Vaccines vs Mastodon. Mastodon wins

Horrors vs Chiefs: Will be the Kaisers. Never seen them before and want a decent position for Foos.

Not real headaches to be completely honest.

Star Fucking Hipsters v Cancer Bats

Will start the day with Star Fucking Hipsters and if they're good I'll happily miss the first half of Cancer Bats.

The Subways v The Cure/The Cure v Social Distortion

Might try and sneak a couple of songs from The Subways before moving to see The Cure. Would love to see Social Distortion but won't if The Cure are engaging enough, if not they're a great fall-back option.

Billy Talent v The Vaccines v Mastodon v Azealia Banks v The Cribs

These all run into each other so I can see a lot of moving around depending on how much I'm enjoying each one. I can imagaine catching about half of each set.

Kasabian v ATDI

Would love to see ATDI but although I've seen Kasabian loads of times it's always a great show and I want to see what they can do at R&L. I've been watching them since they were playing crappy little bars so I'm eager to see them finally headline Reading.

Tribes v Polar Bear Club

Love Tribes' album so they'll get the nod here, although if it doesn't take off I can see myself wandering over to the Lock Up.

My Clashes

Howler vs Cast Of Cheers - Howler wins

The Gaslight anthem vs Tribes - Gaslight Win, seen tribes before

SBTRKT vs Trashtalk - SBTRKT win as I'm more knowledgable to their music over trashtalks, I just like the energy in Tashtalks live show

Black keys - two door cinema club - Black keys win as I've seen two door and as much as i enjoy them I'll sacrifice them to get a good spot for foo's

Foo's vs justice vs the view - Hands down Foo's no explanation really needed, but justice were amazing at parklife last weekend

Blood Red Shoes vs Theme Park - Blood Red shoes win as i want to stick around the main stage most of the day so I'll have a good spot

    • Another one from Sheffield DocFest this weekend, Earth Wind & Fire docu, directed by Questlove. Sensational archive footage, contributions from band members, family, plus a lot of very big fans (Stevie, Lionel, Flea, the Obamas) and a warts n all assessment of the genius / flawed human being that was Maurice White. Also, I never realised he started out as a jazz drummer with Ramsay Lewis. Well worth a watch.
    • In a 6,800-word Substack essay, external, the Clacton MP said "anti-white racism was embedded into the state", and that legislation aimed at equality was a form of "social cleansing"   .https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cdjkd4mp93zo   The privileged white c**t hasn’t got a clue what racism is.
    • BBC iPlayer: Will serve as the main hub for past sets, including both recent hits and iconic archival gems. You can explore the BBC iPlayer to watch curated compilations, "Best of Glastonbury" recaps, and on-demand replays of historic headline performances. [1, 2, 3] TV Broadcasts (BBC Two & BBC Three): The channels will air dedicated compilation shows. Leading up to the weekend, you can watch archive programming such as Glastonbury: 70s Legends, 80s Legends, and 90s Legends on BBC Two. [1] Radio & BBC Sounds: Pop-up Glastonbury radio stations on BBC Sounds will feature non-stop coverage, including exclusive mixes and huge sets from past years
    • Got HBO Max to watch football so watched One Battle After Another which is a great film and deserves its awards and then rewatched Magnolia and that is a flipping amazing film...so much in it. (also rewatching Angels In America series which is also amazing).
