Even Spector's biggest fans should see NIN over them imo, Spector tour tickets won't be hard to get a hold of if you're genuinely interested in seeing them and they'll be dirt cheap. NIN however, for one, they might not even tour the UK, but if they do, tickets will probably be at least double and they'll be hard to get I imagine, because they'll only do a couple of big venue shows. (and they're going to be fucking incredible live)

i love the courteeners but 99% of the courteeners fans need fucking culling my twitter timeline is fucking full of them watching them at t in the park on telly and acting like they've just seen hendrix at woodstock or something, how about no. the fans should have bad names because they're all morons, worse than the likes of beliebers because they act like them but seem to believe they have divine right to do so because the courteeners are supposedly the best thing since oasis so therefoe the best thing since ever and they are geniuses for realising this!!! no

Right even though i'm sadly not going to reading and leeds next year... I want to make a list of bands that personally I could not miss if I went. Just incase there are any which are sceptical or unsure on who to see.

Bands you can't afford to miss:

Friday. (not in order).

Major Lazer

Frightened Rabbit

Clean Bandit

The Computers

System Of A Down

Saturday

Foals

Earlwolf

Tame Impala

Jagwar Ma

Chase & Status

Sunday

Biffy Clyro

Nine Inch Nails

Azealia Banks (yes I know she clashes with them both but she's a class live act)

Disclosure

Haim

Aluna George

Enjoy the festival to whoever is going.

because they're arrogant and act like liam fray is god and if you say anything like "I don't even think the courteeners are that good" they'll go off on one about how shit your music taste is etc.

They are good, but there is so so so much better, they're an okay live band, Liam's voice isn't always up to it, but the energy of the crowd has always made it brilliant for me. I'd definitely see them again at a fest, but their own shows are gonna be a bit expensive now I reckon, earlier in the year Liam Fray acoustic tickets were about a tenner, and they've already gone up to 17 in the space of about 4 months, and I doubt I'd pay more than £25 to see them

    • Ah, that is interesting and ruins my theory a bit!!   I think my point just about holds though, and coming full circle on this discussion, being a sizable band such as Muse and not being able to sell out two O2 dates very quickly or at all doesn’t fill me with confidence that they be able to do a decent job selling a stadium tour…although maybe if Muse do something about their pricing, maybe they can!
    • I’ve said it elsewhere too but Emily Eavis said a 2028 headliner was booked, to me that’s only going to be someone the size of Oasis or Taylor Swift
    • Christ didn't even see that!
    • It does feel very bland. It would certainly spell another year (my third, I think) away from Pyramid headliners for me. That doesn't mean they aren't worthy, though. I don't follow what any of them are up to, as it isn't my thing. Good luck to them.   You would think coming off a fallow year, they would want one big hitter. 'Big hitter' is obviously open to debate, but that was/is Madonna. Let's have it right. The eggs have gone in that basket, and it seems (as far the rumours go) that it's blown up. So now you're left with another plan B/replacement headliner.   I'm still of the opinion that Oasis will do it, before the Oasis thing is all said and done. Probably 2028, if they can come to an agreement. It may transpire that 2027 is bland (or at least to some of us), and 2028 is a bit... wild.   Again, though, none of us categorically know ANY of the headliners, as it stands.
    • Second go.....    Still f**king fantastic - Well done WIlliam Orbit -  Bugman & Trimm Trabb mega tracks - No Distance Left To Run hauntingly Beautiful
