Terrible news...When Reading and Leeds could have taken a step forward in 2012...they have booked a band that dont really suit R/L and took 3 steps backwards!

A crowd full of 16-24 year olds listening to a band who were at there pinical 10 years before they were born!

RUBBISH BOOKING!

Everyone needs to shut up with the "all the 18 year olds will be dissapointed". Many people have said on here that The Cure does relate to a demographic of that and being 19 myself I could't begin to express how glad I am by this. Great set of headliners this year, cheers Melvin!

It's complete bullshit everybody saying the teenagers don't want the cure. Me and my friends are 17/18 and i've sent a text round to the people who are thinking of coming next year and all of them have been really positiive.

Great booking, something different and something that makes the fest stand out from V and T.

Exactly.

This band influenced generations of musicians. Who all are massive with the Reading audience. I'm baffled that people seem to suggest that younger fans "won't know THe Cure".

Really Recommend watching this.... Not sure if they're in order but it gives a good overview.
