Who got Coldplay tickets?

Hi all,

I was absent from this years Glastonbury festival and gutted that I wasn't there to see the Coldplay gig, but I managed to get tickets to their Manchester gig this morning in the presale. Tickets were pricey at £60+ each, but as I've not done a single festival this year I thought 'sod it'!

Who else was lucky? Which gig are you going to?

I did for the o2 area. Am so pleased as i missed them to watch the Chemical brothers instead, who were amazing also. I am treating my girlfriend to it for a early xmas present as she is a massive fan.

Bloody hell £60+! I saw the chems at Glasto but saw Coldplay at T, they were good but definitely not worth more than £50, and that's if I was a fan!

I wondered what sort of mugs would be forking out that much to see a very average band, and now I know.

Wanted to see them in Norwich in a coupe of weeks, tickets were due to go on sale tomorrow at 9am, but people started queueing up yesterday. By 10am this morning they had enough queuers to sell out so gave everyone who was in the queue a ticket to come back later and buy the ticket. Impressive to 'sell out' nearly a day before tickets go on sale. Fair to play to all, only 1500 capacity venue

They will be awesome in such a small venue. You lucky people. Not sure if I would preoared to queue up for over a day to see them though!
