The $64,000 Question and it would be impossible to answer

anyone who was brave enough to attend in 2007

http://www.bbc.co.uk/berkshire/content/articles/2007/07/27/flood_reading_festival_feature.shtml

will know how bad the site was flooded although its claimed FR has made improvements but the proof is in the pudding.

taking the events I have worked this season it has been a wet one but who can say how the weather will be in a months time.

I was brave enough to go in 2007 and it was proper strange as there was hardly a drop of rain over the weekend but the ground was muddy in lots of places and sections of the campsites were roped off - wellies and sunburn the festival combination!

As for expecting rain - it's years since I've been to a festival that's had neither no rain or no mud so take wellies, spare socks and waterproof (ponchos from camping shops are great as they fold up really small when the sun comes out) and have a drink and have a good time :D

You can normally walk away from Reading with a bit of a tan (despite the smoke cover).

Last year it was damp but the long drop sucking machine sucked up the mud so it was fine walking around the popular areas.

As for Leeds... you're probably f**ked!

Have got soooo wet in the past (and am way too old) that have looked into hiring a caravan... Found an awesome new site - retro-caravan-hire.com - they've got one of those teardrop things (very cool) and an old 70s caravan! Both can be towed to the festival of your choice!! Woo hoo!!
