The man who helped my two friends put away their pop up tent after around 45 mins of them thrashing about with it needs a medal. I could not help as I was too busy laughing..

On another note a guy came up to me at around two in the morning at one of the bars and asked if he could use my mobile phone to ring his mum as he had ran out of credit. This guy was not a kid and made me suspicious as to why he would need to call his mum at 2am. I did not let him use the phone but was this just me being suspicious or was he planning to nick it? Who knows..

It was my first glasto ever, i was having a great time, and on the friday i smoked a bit too much weed and got super high, friends were going to shangri la later, so i started queueing but could barely stand up. I found one of those stone benches and curled up into a ball for a while. A few minutes later i was being given a backrub by a very kind random hippy lady! It made me so happy since that would never happen anywhere else. later on I headed into shangri la and found my friends for the rest of the night.

If you are out there anywhere kind lady, THANK YOU SO MUCH!

I also think ill stay off weed for a while now as well :P

I know people on here are always on about how amazing glasto is and all but it really is a magical place, i was just so happy yesterday when i was leaving and I cant wait for the next one!

I took the other half for the first time this year. We got separated at the Park stage watching pulp. When I finally found her, a group of people from the county durham area had taken her in as one of their own and looked after her. She looked like she was having a ball :-)

She told me that they all been shouting my surname out in the hope I would hear.

If you guys read this, thank you so much :-)

Me and my mate tried really hard to look after this boy off his face on ket at radiohead. He was only wearing a vest and was soaking. We spent an hour with him making sure he was ok, the ket wasn't the biggest problem and i spent ages reassuring him that everything with that was ok, the the real problem was the fear of him getting hypothermia and getting him to recognise that he really needed to deal with that. He fell in the mud on the way out and no one laughed (which was nice).

Unfortunetly, we lost him in the crowd and I can only hope some people got him back to his tent, got him to welfare or at least gave him a jumper. Not being funny but that totally sobered me up.

Had 3 kids in a garden trolley, and we wanted to get them to chemical brothers when we hit the deepest looking mud ever with no way round! as we stood there debating a route, a lovely guy completely off it came over chatting to the kids, so happy that we had brought them to share the experience...then he grabbed the trolley with gusto, and set off through the mud, only quickly to fall face first in the mud, not once but twice, with a whole group of people who were mudwrestling to start cheering him on!! he got us over the mud, then gave us all big hugs, and we left him smiling still...thank you!! :)

Thanks to the people who helped me out of the mud- I fell over constantly. Tried to return the favour as well but largely ended up getting stuck myself, at one point there were about 6 of us trying to help each other out!

Oh, also thank you to the steward who found my mum's phone in the Glade on Sunday and took it to Dance Village and phoned us to come and get it. Could have easily been stolen or lost forever so very grateful for that.

Lovely moment in the Bimble Inn on Thursday this year. Took my 19 year old brother in law for the first time, who was looking a bit overwhelmed by the whole thing. A chap wanders up and says 'cheer up mate, you're at Glasto!' and hands him a fresh can of cider. Lovely stuff.

Soon as we went to set up camp,a lad came over and said the old wele wath out for your area if you look out for ours, which i happily agreed, and he asked for a beer to buy,i was happy to give him one for free and start of glasto with a generous small deed.

I dropped my camera in the mud and some delightful man fished it out for me and chased after me saying i think you dropped this. i have so much thanks for this man as it had all of my glasto snap shots on it and where i live it would have been nicked before it hit the ground :D

I totally have to thank all the people who helped me over the weekend - firstly the stranger who rescued me from the mud on Friday and put me in welfare, and I also had lost my purse that evening but there was a single ten pound note in my bag, so it seemed like he may have given it to me, unfortunately I can't remember much else about the whole episode! The help was very much appreciated anyway.

Also my mates (you know who you are) for helping me to walk on Saturday after I developed an absurd backwards-bend affliction, and generally looking out for me the whole weekend... love ya's! Could've done with some suncream on my nose though....!

Didn't happen to us, but on the Sunday morning the guys camped next to us were sat talking about how they had no beer and had run out of money to buy any more. 10 minutes later someone walks over and hands them £20 to buy a few. Made their weekend I think, they were amazed by it!
