Brilliant recommendation stone, many thanks, will grab a pack to try out. Forced to quit for health reasons in order to be able to make it to glastonbury this year (collapsed a lung about 10 days ago) so have a really strong reason to quit. I've been boiling my doobage in milk and making coffee with it, which has been fine (if massively wasteful in comparison to a reefer) but obviously not going to be a suitable solution for glastonbury.

I'm 100% committed to quitting the ciggies, but, well...green is too much part of what I'm all about to see that leave my life. Special coffee is great (particularly if you make it with pure kief, but there is NEVER enough of that to go round ;)) and allows me to maintain my balance without being a slave to the tobacco leaf.

I apologise if anyone is at work today, but the deal is this.

Today is about one of the best days this country has been able to provide. Fact.

The weather is beautiful, perfect, it's glastonbury weather. I've got my sunhat on, dizzee and crystal castles as a soundtrack and the back garden is baking (as am I, cheese with dutch spirit recommended by a fellow efestivaller means I can enjoy a doobie guilt free :)), give me a day like today in 3 weeks and I can assure you we will all have the best festival yet.

Reckon last year was as good as it gets? Think again kids, we are going to top it with the good feeling, happy vibe we are all bringing with us. No football to bring us down, no crap weather for weeks in the run up to bum us out, nothing is going to get in the way of having a good time, I am telling you now :)

Really feeling it this morning, back off out into the sun!

I am doomed not to get any gainful employment now until August I reckon as I cant concentrate one jot on job applications. The G really is beginning to fill my every thought and I really didnt want it to but I cant help myself. I am finally getting the pre G buzz now. After months and months of not feeling totally up for it this year, what was I thinking? The dreams are nearly daily now, my mind cant think of anything else but sunny fields in Somerset, I am mentally packing in my head and in a couple of hours time, being let loose in town and I havent spent a penny all week so need to start wasting money on this! :D

I wish I was stronger willed with the job applications... bloody Glasto, I am really looking forward to next year as it will give the break and the chance to try and find a good job as soon as possible and settle into something for a decent stint instead of knowing I cant concentrate for the entirity of June and Glastobate furiously with workmates!

Lucy, you work best to deadlines anyway. Maybe you just need to Glastobate a little longer, and when the deadline looms you'll knock out that job application in minutes.

The excitement is actually feeling physical now. The buzzing in my brain is back...I really didnt want this feeling to take over as it always does. I'm just so incapable with this feeling coursing through my veins. The guilt I feel about not getting important stuff done is awful but I cant drag myself away from this site, G is such an addiction but the only therapy is...well...that's just too obvious. Its just a week in a field for gawdsake...why is it capable of rendering us all so silly?

    • Ann and Nancy Wilson are planning a final world tour for HEART starting next year. They were never at Glastonbury. They should do it.
    • sub yes I could see but I don't think they get 1hr 15, a headliner starting at 18:15 though is unlikely. Even the recent co-headlines that have had like 1hr 15 then a 1hr 30 after were on 8pm or just before, you are trailing behind more than 1.5 hours then. In that scenario some 3rd down bands are only starting at 18:15 and some haven't lol. I agree they won't not book them due to this but it won't be 6 headliners. It would be 5 headliners and you wouldn't want to see 5 headliners booked but Biffy were to not be thouhgt of as an option for one. Wolf Alice on the other hand could sub no bother and you'd think nothing of it. I'm not so sure Biffy would get headline though after the festival choice in Kendal this year.
    • Definitely. UKIP also used Merkel welcoming 1 million Afgans to Europe in 2015 during the brexit vote.   Politicians in other countries within the EU know the are going to lose voters to parties to the right of them over stuff like this and they've no control over it.
    • I think it will very much vary on who there is to book who they know will sell out a day.    They’ve co-headline and full headline stuff in future, there no reason at all they won’t do it again, even if it means cutting someone’s set by 15 mins or having a band less in a big bands day…   They’re not going to not book Foo fighters and instead get the equivalent of Florence and C&S just to not have a band do a big set…   …unless of course they think it will make them more money…
