Can't fecking wait, for

endless nights,

sunsets,

beats,

drums,

laughing my box off ,

making friends,

Losing friends,

losing my tent,

Constant smell of herb

long drops clang,

smell of fires,

being resonated by Funktion 1 systems,

off my tits,

Sharing herb,

Burrow hill,

Stones,

Dreadzone!

Shouting bollox,

That feeling that you are home at last....:.......

Won't be long......people......! (Passes spliff onwards to next poster! )

My excitement build everyday.....and at the moment I feel sick with excitement. My OH and my kids are not coming with me - just me and my sis - and they are soooooooooooooooo fed up with me mentioning Glastonbury all the time!

This is my first Glasto, so seeing those vids just adds to the crazy excitement I feel!

Ahh, an excitement thread was just what I needed, because I am very excited.

The money has just gone out of my account for the tickets I bought in the last chance saloon resale on Tuesday night. I am going back to Glastonbury after an absence of 17 years, and bringing my son with me for his first Glasto.

Hoping the weather is good-in my 3 years of Glasto I've only seen sunshine, oh and one welcome thunderstorm-keeps the dust down nicely.

We'll be the (only ones) in a ridge tent-easy to find.

This post made me smile :)

The constant smell of herb! Love this.

Can i just add the Wednesday evening cheer that spreads across the site.

Also a biggy for me is when my group get to the cider bus and the hot n spicey isn't ready so we tuck into a few medium sweet's, then finally the hot n spicey is being served and the feeling i get!

Get in my belly!

Bring on that feeling that only occurs once the tent is up and you know that for the next 5 days, you’re in for one of the most uniquely amazing experiences you can have on this planet.

    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
