It's a bit depressing that I had people trying from three different places.. And two different countries!

And apparently me being armed with 3 phones on constant redial just isn't enough to get one measly ticket.

First sale relied on f5 on multiple browsers with multiple tabes. Never got past holding Page

First Resale read posts on here and thought VPN from work, what an excellent idea, kicked myself for not thinking of it earlier. So F5, multiple browsers plus f5s on computer logged into works VPN, still never got past holding page.

Today "check4change" on loads and loads of tabs, plus the chrome equivalent plus other computer dialled into work. Thought "check4change" might make the difference, but only difference it made was alerting me sooner than usual that all tickets sold out, never got past the holding page, AGAIN!

I am trying to figure out how some people seem to get in straight away whilst I must have pressed f5, or the automated check4change equivalent thousands of times over the 3 sessions and never even seen a page other than the holding page until all tickets were gone.

It may be down to luck!

My theory though is that it has a lot to do with your ISP, I suspect mine (BT) are caching the Holding Page when its busy and that I am not even getting onto the SEE website, but I may be wrong.

Anyway congrats to Mr weazles sister. I suspect in all honesty her need is greater than mine so I will console myself that there are some happy punters out there, and I will start making plans to change ISP before 2013!

We had five browser windows, each with 4 tabs set to 2 second refresh on check4change. Got a screen in 5 minutes, all done by 7.07 - email arrived @ 7:15.

gutted as well like some of you. tried for 2 hours solid and never got anywhere past the holding page. clicking refresh manually every single second, sometimes even twice a second as my browser is quite fast and nothing.........

what was annoying was every so often the page would look like it was doing something then id get thrown back to the coach travel option,which when ya clicked on it landed me back at the holding page!?!

i had 6 other people trying for me on a variety of networks, including iphones and none of them got a sniff either

ah well, im not giving up yet or about to start feeling sorry for myself........if you want a ticket bad enough you will get it

gumtree,ebay,hassling seetickets and then some other means will have to suffice!

the 2 people that i've been trying to get tickets for since the end of last year decided yesterday that they no longer wanted to try for them (lack of ££, other commitments etc).

I know this is a good thing, in that i didn't have to go through the pain of another re-sale last night (and that 2 people on here who really wanted them had a slightly better chance of success), and that i'm not having to deal with disappointment today, but for some reason i feel a little sad. can it possibly true that achieving success in glasto ticket resales, not even for myself but for others, had become the main focus of my days?!!

truly pathetic - i may have to finally give in to the tent porn threads for distraction...

I could not get in to the booking page on any of the UK ISP connections but the RDP connection to a server in Arizona just got through and I managed to buy a ticket. I lesson for next year I guess, US ISPs don't get backed up in a queue.:

I was trying for a friend and when it sold out I was heartbroken. Then a minute later I got a phone call with a very teary person on the other end. It was my friend....she'd got a ticket! Best day ever
