Primal Scream!

After seeing their screamadelica free, drunken, shambolic, audience berating, security plug pulling and utterly f**king hilarious performance in 2005 I would certainly be happy with nothing but screamadelica this time. Though it may increase the necessity of getting real high.

You reckon? why are they advertising 'Primal Scream presents Screamadelica' at other festivals and thier tour, but at Glastro it just says Primal Scream?? just curious. they'll be amazing anyway, but would be nice to hear other albums

There's no way it won't be anything other than Screamadelica, with Rocks, Jailbird and Country Girl at the end

KAH is an obvious choice for Glasto.

Here's the setlist from their controversial appearance on the Pyramid in 2005 - i'm not a big fan but they were excellent that night.

Intro

Accelerator

Miss lucifer

Rise

Alright

Kill all hippies

Detroit

Jailbird

Medication 1

Medication 2

Rocks

Kowalski

Swastika eyes

Movin´on up

i was nearish the front but to the right side of the crowd, some werent having it enough,i was still throwing my arms up,clapping and singing at every chance and cheering as loud as poss. maybe some of the weather did get to people though, you could see the scream wanted more noise from everyone, not just some.

still,amazing performance,loved it.

In a weird moment of self denial I didn't see them as I'm saving it as my end of festival season finale at Bestival later this year. Also my wife told me if I went without her she'd leave me. Seeing a bit of footage now I can't wait till September

I've heard many great reviews of Primal Scream but i've never seen them live and i'm going to T next week where they clash with Coldplay who i haven't seen either, i was just wondering if anyone when to see both of these and which was the better performance?

I didn't see Coldplay, so I fear this may be horribly un-useful advise. But I can not recommend Primal Screams show enough, easily one of the best/fun gigs I've been to. Also, you can expect pretty much the same thing from Primal Scream at T (light show and setlist wise) while I get the impression Coldplay went all out for Glasto, so it may be be that there show is quite as spectacular at T
