Frogger_Queen
I have a Quechua 3 man which has served me well, but my missus wants to upgrade us to a Quechua 4 man XL. What are people's thoughts, is that too excessive for two people and their stuff?
LusciousLucy
I'd love a Quechua but a. it means 2 trips to the car as you cant carry a Quechua AND a rucksack on your back and the rest of the luggage at the same time (this is ME remember!). And b. There is no way I could ever get them back into the bag I just know it.

jengeo
Can't decide whether to use this: Gelert 6 man Skydome(£50 ebay last year) or this: Campus Montego 4-man(£23 ebay this year) Gelerts got a larger sleeping area but the living space in the Montego much bigger? Couldn't manage without this: or my bungee net to go over it Found this: And this is worth its weight in gold clipped to the outside of the tent (no tent sauna) also poundland got some great little solar post lamps for a quid each - weigh nothing and great for light up camp area. p.pete
I use this bad boy! It's fairly big but it allows everyone else to take small tents and use this one's porch for storage. It's a pop up too!
izcuje
Most of the cool tents here seem to be a bit too heavy for a train+coach ride where bringing a trolley won't be very convenient - any recommendations for a tent fit for 3 that's not too heavy? Alcatraz
Got my 2 man Quechua tent for its second Glastonbury. f**k me, having it in 2009 was bliss. I'd sat in traffic jams from home (Bath) to the site, in a journey which has taken me 40 minutes about mid-afternoon on a Wednesday in previous years, but took 4 hours in 09. Last thing I wanted to do was piss around with my tent

Lucanesque
I'm having a tent dilemma. Took my Vango Omega 350 last year, great tent and huge amount of space for little old me --> But it weighs 5kg, and that walk in from the East car parks last year nearly killed me. The other tent is one that I use for 1-2 night wild camps, a Wild Country Aspect 2 --> Only weighs 2kg and packs small enough to fit inside my backpack. Will probably take the small and light, but what if it rains!?! Gah!!!
Mardy
Happy Chappy, I like the look of that Wild Country Aspect a lot, lovely little tent. You happy with it? Easy to put etc? Looks like a cracking bit of kit.

ian the worm
Secondhand Eurohike for £10 from Ebay. It was raining when it was delivered so it got erected in the lounge! It was too hot last year as there are no other openings to get the air through. If its the same this year, I'll cut a window in the back and tape it up if it starts raining. Winston Legthigh
Admittedly it takes a while to get it ship-shape:
