Realistic headliners for next year would be:

Foo Fighters

Kasabian

Bloc Party

Beastie Boys

Blur

The Killers

RHCP

Im gonna go with these as they all have/are releasing new albums

Friday:

Beastie Boys

Saturday:

Kasabian

Sunday:

Foo Fighters

I expect some of these to play too:

Kaiser Chiefs (new album)

Placebo

Weezer

Mumford

Lostprophets (new album)

Limp Bizkit (new album)

Can't they do something with some level of wow factor rather than the boring and predictable. All three of the headliners this year were seen as likely 12 months before. If it actually is Kasabian, Foo Fighters and Bloc Party, for example, it fits the same formula

MCR = Bloc Party - will probably play lower at T

Foo Fighters = Muse - have been everywhere

Kasabian = The Strokes (although The Strokes are preferable)

They will have learnt nothing from the slow ticket sales this year.

Green day, Kasabian and Blur

Slipnot, Dizzee Rascal and New Order (subbing)

OK, I'll have a go at all the main fests,

TITP - RHCP, Blink, Biffy (probably a couple more to be announced as headliners like this year, a pop act and rapper?)

R+L - Kasabian, Foo's, Linkin Park

V - Lady Gaga, Mumford & Sons

I.O.W - Radiohead, Stereophonics, Bruce Springsteen & E Street band

Download - Paramore, Rammstein, QOTSA

Sonisphere - RHCP, Slipknot, Smashing Pumpkins

Download: Soundgarden/Machine Head/Iron Maiden or Van Halen

Sonisphere: Tool/Red Hot Chili Peppers/Rage Against the Machine

T In the Park: Red Hot Chili Peppers/The Killers/R.E.M

    • Looking like will be bringing a 2-3 month old to Glastonbury next year
    • Healey's first budget with be Oct 28th
    • Been going for 10 years. Wasn't massively keen on the lineup beforehand - although as usual after some research I did start to really look forward to it. We had a brilliant time, felt more like old school Latitude, lovely vibe and we met some nice people. We saw loads but highlights for me -   Lime Garden Florence Road Jalen Ngonda David Byrne - Not a fan of him or TH really but we went out of interest and it was one of those festival shows that you'll never forget. The staging was off the scale. Eleni Drake - Up on BBC Introducing, what a haven that stage is.  Westside Cowboy Getdown Services - Probably highlight of the weekend for me. Absolutely brilliant and have booked tix for them in Bristol next year. Everything Everything - They're my favourite band so I loved it when they were added. A great start to Sunday and met loads of their fans up near the front. Alex James Britpop - We enjoyed it and Gary Stringer FFS! David O'Doherty - Saw him twice, brilliant as usual. Self Esteem - Adore Rebecca and the show was as live affirming as always.   Overall, it was such a brilliant weekend. Beforehand we said that we might give it a miss next year but I'm pretty sure that we'll be sucked right back in!
    • Me too.  Reckon they must have more this year.   Not bad is it - ended up paying same price as this year.  It still represents great value for me.  Well, until I check my bank account the Monday after the weekend.
    • Well mayors have more powers to do that sh*t...but they have to make the numbers add up.
