I dont think you realise mate that, that never is going to happen again it was a once off for a bunch of festivals in 2007 to re-kickstart their career, then they done that 2007 tour afterwards and released the live album and dvd. They are absolutely massive, they can sell out venues that are twice the capacity of RockNess, so I cant see it happening, maybe for Coachella or Glastonbury.

Seriously can't be arsed hanging around waiting for line ups so I can buy tickets. May invest elsewhere at this rate before all the other festivals sell out.

when you see that bestival is probaby 75% announced if not more and its in september vs rockness 3 months earlier in the year and has probably got 30-35% announced....

its gets really boring watching all the other festivals announce amazing acts while we wait months for the bulk of our lineup, with little or no communication from anyone. its the same every year.

I no it's proberly a long shot and won't happen but Kaiser Chiefs have been announced for ilse of Wight to sub Kings Of Leon. Maybe a Rockness appearance might be on the cards? To sub chems maybe who knows but would be a great addition if added.

i totally agree with the sense of bestival etc being way more advanced in terms of announcements. in every way. frequent, filled and of quality.

just seen the kaiser cheifs confirmed for isle of wight. im scared.

on a plus side. underworld confirmed for global.

could they be waiting for one of the two?

I think most of us would be less frustrated if people weren't coming on here saying there is an announcement coming, a week later and there is no sign of it. Just my tuppence-worth.

According to Rockness FB page post by Inverness Gigs the announcement is in Daily Record 2moro... early editions should be hitting Glasgow round about now. So who wants to go find one???

Edit: In fact I think their post is pure speculation... probs not true.

I had a go @rocknessfest on twitter tonight about them being the only festival that promises announcements then let us down. The reply?? No reply!! Not a squeak and that sums them up!!
