Always loved the following track. I remember buying it as a single on a family holiday at a Butlins somewhere, I forget which one. I always used to come back from holidays with new music. The Jam's Strange Town. I bought that in a strange town.

Cracked.com think Dexys were underated: http://www.cracked.c...e-your-respect/ (because they'd only heard Eileen).

He really lost it around here though, didn't he? http://www.nme.com/p...ress/229200/2/1

Having just rewatched that Jools clip, it sounded better second time around.

Dexy's produced three absolutely classic albums, but their crowning glory was Dont Stand Me Down...absolute 22 carat, wall to wall genius

if they play next year, I might even be tempted to drag myself to the Pyramid stage and piss myself with delight

27 years.... He is one ugly MoFo, but hell, I'd trade everything I own to to be Kevin for one moment. I want to sing and be like that forever. Don't stand Me Down was their finest hour, but, my word, this new stuff comes close.

You'd trade everything you own to be Kevin for one moment! That's spooky. I wouldn't trade anything to be someone else. Nobody's that good (and neither am I if that's the way you were thinking).
