you'll have to excuse my ignorance, but is he any less current than Primal Scream who people are rumouring will appear under a headline slot? I know I'd rather see Moby than Primal Scream

Saw him in 2008 playing after neil young at Rock Werchter. He was absolutely brilliant - didn't sound dated or anything. Tbh i think hes easily big enough to headline the other stage.. he's bigger than underworld. But could maybe see him in faithless' spot this year?

anyone seen him recenlty? What are his setlists like?

I loved him when I was a slip of a lad in the 90s but wonder how much of his older stuff he plays these days? And I wonder, has Play dated terribly? I havent listened to it in years.

Whenever I hear porcelain it takes me back to some rudies I got up to with one of the finest looking ladies I have ever met. I wish I could remember her name and I would stalk her relentlessly on facebook (assuming the years have been kind to her, of course)

I've not seen him since Global 2008 but he can play a very 'dancey' set if required - as he did then. I wouldn't see either a dance tent headline / other stage high appearance as out of the question...

This is the most recent full set up on setlist.fm. From May last year:

A Seated Night

Extreme Ways

Mistake

Bodyrock

In My Heart

Go

Why Does My Heart Feel So Bad?

Pale Horses

We Are All Made Of Stars

Porcelain

Walk on the Wild Side

(Lou Reed cover)

Flower

Natural Blues

Walk With Me

Raining Again

Disco Lies

The Stars

Encore:

In This World

Lift Me Up

Encore 2:

Whole Lotta Love (Led Zeppelin cover)

Honey

Feeling So Real

Not bad tbh. I had actually forgot how many great songs he'd done until a month back when I heard We Are All Made Of Stars at work and then decided to go rediscover him. Would be great for JP but I can't see it happening.

2003 wasn't it for his last appearance (when a tree fell on me tent during his set)? Time for him to make another appearance and revitalise his status and back catalog I think. Can see him on Other more rather than Holts, or Dance East/West (but would be rammed).

:O Genuinely gobsmacked at the level of love for his 03 set. He bored me rigid, so much so that I wandered off before he was even half way through. It's not like I've got a Moby problem, I'd seen him in Manchester a few weeks earlier and loved it, his pyramid set however seemed somehow vacuous, no spark of life at all.

Guess it's them horses and their courses again.

I would absolutely love to see Moby there and reckon he would be a great warm up to Coldplay. The Scissor Sisters did it last year to Muse so I don't see any reason why he can't. I'm not by any means comparing him to Scissor Sisters, it just came as a bit of a surprise when they played second top last year so I reckon he could do it if they can.

It was a suprise, it was also a huge crowd (we arrived at the back of the field a couple of songs before the end and it was packed, with it at least seeming to us that more people left before muse than arrived) so clearly the Eavii know something I don't about which acts to book.

    • I think a Take to the Skies set would probably be the thing that gets me to go to this. Couldn't give a f**k whatelse is on there if that happens.   Feel like Knocked Loose might be too big by that point.
    • Issac Wood in support????   A lot here to digest
