Megafaun! Incredible band, and makes up for the fact that I'm not a huge fan of Laura Marling. This line-up is definitely the folkiest yet, which is by no means a bad thing, but I'm hoping for a band like Menomena or Titus Andronicus to add something a bit more diverse and substantial. The abundance of psychedelic rock and psych-folk is great though.

Hi Clo and welcome to the forum!

No, I've not used them before, but have seen them advertised for various festivals before. Slightly anxious given seadragon's comments above...hmmm. Used National Express for Latitude last year and they were very good. I suppose the good thing about EoTR is that the coach is on the Thursday so even lateness will mean we'll get there before the bands on Friday! That said, I will check them out as we get closer to the festival. There's already such a good buzz about it, I can't believe it's 7 month'saway.

Anyway, I have my festival optimist hat on so I say it's all going to be fine! my

Sorry, Clo, no knowledge on pick-ups...not absolutely sure there actually ARE any between Victoria and LTG...

Coincidentally I just had a wee look at the BGC site to remind myself of the details. There are 2 departure times for the Thursday - 1200h and 1630h. I booked the earlier one, so unless there's a disaster I would hope to be on the EoTR site and getting the tent ship-shape by 4pm.

    • Tonight was a disgrace. There wasn't *that* much rain, and it wasn’t *that* windy. A festival of this size should be able to withstand some adverse weather without it bringing the whole circus to a standstill. And if it is true that part of a speaker on the Revolut stage fell…   As for the communication - announcing Massive Attack were playing at 12:30 and then nothing for over an hour while people waited in the rain. It’s laughable it really is.   If I said I’ll never come back again I’d be lying. The shambles of Barcelona 2022 and the disgrace of Madrid 2023 didn’t stop me, so this probably won’t either.   This festival gets so much wrong, but it is always saved by having such killer line-ups. It’s just a shame it treats the fans/customers/consumers like animals. Compare it to somewhere like Glastonbury and it’s worlds apart.
    • Yeah, I admit that a small part of me felt relieved when they announced that MA are canceled.. But on the positive side- got to see Florence Road afterall, and they were great
    • Glad I could take the €3 bus to Playa Catalunya! Hope y'all warm and dry up.
