Stone Circle

Would it be possible to protect the Stone Circle for future generations?

You can nominate sites for heritage protection and wonder if this should be done.

Most people will be familiar with listed buildings but the types of structure that can qualify for listing can be surprising: from the traditional terrace house to lighthouses and Cold War bunkers to street furniture.

Surely if anything was iconic and worthy (no pun intended) of protection it would be the Pyramid.

As long as it didn't interfere with it functioning in it's primary functions like.

The Stone Circle is shaped to mirror the Cygnus star constellation - the swan. The stone at the tip represents the head of the swan - the bright star Albireo, which is a jewel of a double star.

Under each stone are significant items that represent the direction of which each faces. There are crystals from Stonehenge, water from the Ganges, stone from the Pyramids, healing herb and many, many other items of mystical and religious significance. While only completed in 1990 the Stone Circle feels as though itโ€™s been there forever.

Who cares about your house, it still got listed.
