Marshall
The Wedding Present must return they were excellent last time. also Cast would be a perfect headliner. Saw them tonight they're incredible such a powerful live band they'd be wasted doing a short set somewhere like v. also Ringo Deathstarr would be amazing and I say this most years but The Damned!! perfect indoor headliner oh and Wire

andyblack
phil, i've found another brilliant sounding welsh band you'll love! MELYS http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio1/johnpeel/artists/m/melys/ i saw them play last night in an icy, snow capped tiny bistro in betws-y-coed. and they were utterly brilliant, they even had jon from gorkys zygotic mynci playing lap steel for them. seantizz
Ok then - I'll join in with my 20 realistic acts wishlist for 2011 - bet none of these happen.... (1) Admiral Fallow - I remember asking for these last year..... (2) Dan Mangan - quite a show at the John Peel Tent in Glastonbury... (3) Emanuel and the fear (4) Freelance Whales (5) Kid Canaveral (6) Lord Cut Glass (7) Lucky Soul ( Little Hands of Asphalt (9) Narcoleptic Dancers (10) Navajo Youth (11) Michael J Sheehy (12) Hello Saferide (13) Of Montreal (a repeat performance please - a real SSW highlight) (14) Pete Lawrie (15) Theoretical Girl (16) Seefieldroad (17) Treefight For Sunlight (18) Villagers (19) Tinashe (20) Wave Pictures (as they had to cancel last year) Oh - and if Truckstop Honeymoon are touring over here at the time then that'd be a great 21st.... jackroy
Just seen that The Avalanches are releasing a new album next year so fingers crossed that they could play Summer Sundae (purely based on their amazing 1st record and live sets). Elbow have a new record out too, but I guess its a bit different getting them back compared to the pre Seldom Seen Kid popularity levels. DungenessB
not yet tried and failed at swn. for some mad reason they were in possibly the smallest venue of the festival (the model tavern), and the queue literally ran all the way down the street, and no amount of blagging would get the bouncers to let us in. (the one thing swn seems to really struggle with is hefty queues for all the venues post 8pm).
