As its saturday, I will have my bath, and parade around the front room in jeans and t shirt with a hoody when it comes in cold.

My spooky bit of devilment for Walgrapus Night will probably only run to running my fingers a bit more closer than usual to MDMs testicalia.

As I have no drink... I dont think it will go much further than that.

Eeee you youngsters...all out having fun, leaving the likes of me sitting in thinking about the Deficit.

Selfish bastards.

I went to a Halloween themed party on Monday and dressed up as a cat :D

No idea yet for actual Halloween. I was going to go to a gig in Birmingham before I decided that wouldn't be Halloween-y enough. One of my housemates has suggested we all get dressed up and go to Bristol for the night, so that's a possibility. I'd need a new costume though!

Saw some cracking costumes last night but it's getting way too busy to go out on Halloween, Glasgow was full of fannies.

We had a pretty mixed group. Patrick Bateman, a Zombie, a Werewolf, Fidel Castro, Little Red Riding Hood, Michael Jackson, Tennents Man, Cyber Girl and a Zombie Alan Partridge.

Had a good night but trying to get to the bar was impossible and you just couldn't move. Party next year I think.

I went out as a fallen angel! Went into Derby with my best mate (cat) and sis (zombie bride) and all her friends (another cat, bat, hogwarts pupil, pacman ghosts x 3, grim reaper, zombie) and saw loads of ace costumes from the random (banana) to slightly odd (road-kill rabbit; bunny girl costume + tyre marks and fake blood!)

Was an ace night though, very busy but that was to be expected! However a) i shouldn't have worn heels B) the clocks changing doesn't mean you can stay out longer without feeling it and c) cheap alchopops + sambuca + absinthe + screaming kids at work today was not a very good idea!

    • 👍 plus they brought their own screens 📺 either side of the stage.
    • Production was the only thing that could even explain why she would back out. Like they had sorted out the financials and she was fine with it and then a production meeting happened. It all fell apart. It was very clear that she was not going to compromise her show one bit and then that show in Brazil pretty much confirmed it. There was like one element they couldnt pull off outdoors, but it was negligible since the rest was a carbon copy of the tour she had been on. Glasto is not willing to make any bold changes on the Pyramid stage so then theyre kinda stuck in terms of what some acts want/demand. I think the easiest solution to that is putting her on Friday. You deal with the changes for one night and then re configure for the rest of the weekend. In 24 they were fortunate to have had Dua and Coldplay on Fri and Sat so they could both use the b stage. But I think it was removed for Sunday?     I saw a random rag article earlier that said Olivia Dean turned down Glasto BECAUSE her ex ( not even confirmed dating ) Harry Styles was playing the fest. hahahaha
    • No argument that he’s bigger than ever, I just have no enthusiasm for it.
    • Keep in mind those crowds were full of teenagers. Glasto aint full of teenagers. Theres no way she could demand headline and get it because they got other acts to give the slot to who deserve it with a bigger catalog. Reading/Leeds would headline her cause its still LN.  If the fest was struggling its Other headline. But a 3rd down Pyramid is likely the landing spot. Itll go down like the Camila Cabello performance pretty much.
