If my logic is right about this then I reckon it'll be right about Prince too. :)

And to break a habit of a lifetime I'm now going to guess - U2 (fri), Pulp & Foos (sat), Stones (sun)

(or perhaps the other way around for sat & sun).

I could be wildly wrong of course.

I take it you've changed your mind already and got some info to indicate that The Stones are on the Saturday and Foos and Pulp on the Sunday now, then? If Foos and Pulp play the other way round I reckon that would be about perfect.

the days that acts have gone under informed guesses - I was doing some tidying up of the rumours really.

My digging around the stones is telling me there's a pretty decent chance of them playing Glastonbury. Whether that pretty decent chance is them actually playing is another thing tho.

Gimme Shelter must be in there!

It should also be first, imagine proper darkness then those first notes being played.

If they play I can imagine it being a short setlist as I swear their isle of wight one was only 12 songs long???

Also I thought the Verve did a good job headlining the pyramid!

His hands have been like that for years and they've always just about managed so I don't think that would stop them.

The article says it was at a band meeting that his memory seemed really bad but I thought the band meeting was next month? Certainly in the interviews for his book he seemed pretty together mentally

yeah, the band meeting where they decide to tour or not is next month.

But I've got to say, HM doesn't normally run stories like this unless they've got full belief in what they're printing - and their record with delving into 'proper' music news like this (rather than the more normal celeb stuff they do) is very very good.

So while I'm not necessarily believing their story, I'm not dismissing it yet either.
