We honestly can't win or prepare when it comes to British weather so I'm not going to give it too much fault. I've been in rains and rays and it never impacts on the massive love I feel for this festival, they get it spot on no matter what. Although some papers do give some idiot advice for what you should pack, read all about it on my twitter @fromdesktildawn

It's not gonna r**n! Don't doubt the glastonberry weather gods. I'll happily sacrifice a cider and possibly some mango vodka too just for a bit of sun. We'll be so happy with the weather by the end of the festival we'll flash mob Eavis' cows so they all look like this. NFR NFC.

Sun and cloud in Devon. R**n first thing, but nice and dry now. I'm willing to take solid rain for two weeks requiring sand bags, a canoe and even a helicopter rescue (although the search and rescue base is lower than me so they might have sunk) as long as the ground in Pilton doesn't get too wet and we have a dry festival.

Redditch here, we've had a bit of light dr*zzle this morning on and off, generally still in the 2008 pattern though (the occasional nice day, mostly overcast, light r**n one day a week average at most and even then just for 20-30 mins a few times through the day/night). Friday was f**king phenomenal!

Sun is out again now, time to park my arse in the garden with a coffee and a relaxant.

Heh, I'm in smallwood, lodge park's the other side of b&q from here and while it has the pond it isn't a touch on scenic smallwood, the sunset is beautiful reflecting on the battery factory roof. Small world :)

Ah, these days all you can catch there is shopping trolleys and bag-heads. I love it here personally, have lived all around the country as a younger bloke and came here for a weekend in 1990 and that weekend has yet to end.

Weather is a touch changeable here today, but in the nice way that you get 5 minutes of dr*zzle, an hour of sun, 30 mins of cloud, rinse and repeat. Redditch has it's own weather (it almost never snows here and I've seen Brum have nearly a foot and us not a flake) and locals claim this is because we are in some sort of big crater and it causes the clouds to get pushed apart as they approach. I can't say I'm an expert to agree or disagree but think it would be brilliant if it turns out that I live in z for zaccariah land and have a special suit made out of tinfoil just in case.

I am told that the North Atlantic oscillation has moved back down thus the cooler weather, so good chance it will come back up for the end of the month :)

Of course it moving up does not mean no rain but at least it would be warm rain LOL

Weird thing happened to Google Chrome today. It started reporting the Weather Thread as one of my most viewed pages. Fair enough, but when I clicked it I was directed to the weather thread for 2010 and this post:

QUOTE (dirk4danger @ Jun 5 2010, 08:25 AM)Usually I'm very much anything goes but Metcheck is an exception. The guy who founded/ran it was convicted in late 2008 of raping a 14 year old boy. I tend to avoid it these days as it is likely providing an income to Mr Bond whilst he sits in jail..

I'm going to a German beer festival the weekend before Glastonbury, surely that has to be enough to secure some good weather. I'll drink extra beer just to make sure :D

    • Saw Ninajirachi last night as part of Harry Styles’ Meltdown Fest takeover at the Southbank. This was absolutely bonkers, great crowd and support - would love to see her given a good Woodsies spot next year, she’d smash it out the park.
    • I did get a little amusement at the idea that Infantino was upset Trump stood him up for the US opener last night given how hard he's been trying to get in his good books.   Tbf, I thought the Canadian roar at their equaliser was decent volume. Or maybe I just had my phone at a higher volume for it when I watched the highlights this morning.
    • Wonder if they’d ever headline Glasto again.  Would be very different a 2nd time around I reckon.
    • My mate is there now. She enjoyed them a lot but had never seen them before. Apparently there was an injury in the crowd near the end so took about 10 or so minutes to sort out. Hope the person is alright.    Feeder apparently drew a ridiculously huge crowd on the third stage.
    • This was never a surprise.   I'm hoping USA meet and lose to Iran in round of 16, just to really wind up Trump.
