I know enough to know that choice of browser and so forth on the client side couldn't affect things, but the differences I was seeing between the two connections seemed too stark to be coincidence. It's quite possible that some bug in the session handling is leaving connections open to certain IP addresses - think uni computer labs using NAT, for example, hence why we're having so much better luck if we VPN into one of those labs. A plausible theory, at least, don't you think? Or am I just looking for patterns where there are none?

although i do agree with what you said, if you got through to the booking page for a festival and then it crashes, not getting you in again, then im sure you'd be as annoyed as some people here are.

anyway im giving up trying to get one now, waste of 4 and a half hours.

Absolutely gutted, only saw the que page once all day, that was using the Opera Turbo tip, which promptly decided that it wasn't going to load at all anymore and cut out on me, then refused to load again, even in new tabs, just stayed at 0%, f**k.

^^ definitely think using a vpn significantly increases your chance of getting a ticket.

I've been using the link posted in here since 830am on my standard bt broadband line with no success, not even managing to get through to the queue page. Sent my mate the link around 12pm and he successfully got through to the queue page and through the queue within 30 minutes and coincidently he was using his vpn access from work.

He also suggested that the difference in vpn and standard access would most likely be down to service providers and not seetickets.

Anyway, I'm pretty excited after having given up all hope by midday but I won't be fully satisified until my mates gets the confirmation email.

Hope everyine else manages to get through and if not make sure you have access to a vpn for the resale in april, although I'm not completely sure how you would go about this.

All sounds a bit strange, with some people not even getting in the queue. I'm on Virgin, on IE8, and every time I try I get put in the queue. I've got through to the booking page twice at 9:35ish, then while I was booking tickets on these two, another 4 booking pages came up. Closed them all down (got through once again at about 11, still trying for other people!), and now trying for someone else.. Nothing yet on that, but I am in the queue.....

After seeing the queue screen on my phone on first try at 1pm, I realised I had not even been close all morning with about 30 tabs loading. Ran to the office full speed to try a different connection and it's sold out before I get here! How annoying

I hate hindsight, but I can't help thinking if I had come into the uni office at 8:30 this morning things would be different...

Got to the page where you enter your credit card details, filled it and clicked submit. Didn't do anything for a minute then crashed. About the same time as they were announced sold out... No idea if I've got them or not...

nah, I think it's just random. You got thru cos you were gonna get thru at that precise moment.

    • I read the Kerrang review and they didn’t seem overly positive. The definition of a 6 out of 10.
    • Interesting the stat guys say 3 points and -3 goal difference is where it gets to 50/50 territory in terms of going to the last 32. If Scotland lose their last 2 at best they are on -1, play like they did yesterday and they could take a heavy loss.   However thinking about it positively get 4 points from the last 2 games and the group is won! Have heard a few saying Scotland should just park the bus next 2 games, but not sure they have the players to do it. From my perspective they could really do with a decent defensive midfielder to add balance, but not sure if they have one in the squad. They also need significantly more from Mctominay who I thought was poor, but understand he has been unwell.
    • Yup and they aren't all going to get them, some are going to miss out. Speaking of this, I met someone at RIP who went to RFP and his view was band wise it's value for money but it wasn't a festival itself he'd be rushing to return to. In fairness as well he probably liked more of the headliners there than me this year whereas I was more undercard and he wasn't returning.
    • Maybe Starmer's legacy will be a war with Russia.
