I'm still not sure whether they could get away with headlining. The fact that the album drops in November with a few dates around the release will probably mean that they will have 8/10 arena dates Feb/March time at a guess. So unlike Arcade Fire who had headlining question marks last year, who came back to R+L, it will look like MCR will be playing to a shitload of people just before the tickets come out. Meaning generally if you want to see them you can easily and imo it will severly decrease the draw of them to the fest with them already been around the country. IF MCR are to headline imo they'll probably need a big comeback single and the album to do well commercially and critically at least to the Black Parade level. Since they'll probably be in discussions now with headliners, can they really wait to see if it does do well before someone else snaps em up (I can maybe see V and T going after them but not headline) or do they risk it and offer them it hoping that it does well? If it doesn't there left with a poor headliner whos already played to a mass of their fans. Nme seem to love it tbh, or the below reporter does anyway, maybe thats a good sign for their fans (which I'm not). With a line such as that - 'This is the best rock record of the year by such a margin that you actually feel rather embarrassed for everybody else. This isn’t over-excitement. In 2010’s final act, consider rock’n’roll saved', it could do rather well. http://www.nme.com/blog/index.php?blog=140&p=9147&title=my_chemical_romance_danger_days_first_li&more=1&c=1

After listening to the new song almost on repeat for the last 15 minutes...

I can foresee that being one of the biggest festival sing a alongs and next years festivals.

Based on this one song... I really really really want them to play.
