I think their popularity has fallen too much for them to headline. Subbing maybe, but they don't have the fan base they used to.

I have to admit, a punk style album might work well, given their cover of Desolation Row. I feel i've always been uneccessarily harsh to them...

Thanks for highlighting the facts Budweiser. :rolleyes: Just one thing though Joe, where does this insane idea that Lostprophets think they're american come from? I've heard a couple of people say it and all I ever do is stare at them and go, what the hell are you on about? lol.

It looks like MCR are about to release their new album as their website has changed to a load of cryptic messages on a radio http://www.mychemicalromance.com/ and their official Facebook is going haywire with like a dozen comments every minute since the weekend. http://www.facebook.com/MyChemicalRomance?ref=ts#!/MyChemicalRomance?v=wall&ref=ts I know last time they weren't received well by a minority of Slayer fans but they managed to win the crowd over and the sort of hate ship has sailed on a bit.

I reckon they could do sub headline like Paramore or maybe top spot depending on how this album does. What do you think?

If they headlined they'd be dire

They've changed the style too much to change any crowd happy

There's a lot of 'emo' shit which plenty of people can't stand (myself included)

then I can imagine if they're going in a more pop-punk direction, then a lot of the more 'emo' fans won't be as keen

I think they'd be best for an undecided crowd, but most people already have their minds made up on them so they'll only have a sml crowd they can win over imo

Personally I can't stand pretty much anything they've done, and although I don't think they could headline, I think a sub-headline spot would suit them
