These are not the thoughts of a mad "God botherer", it is a Bishop saying these things, Bishops know a lot about this sort of thing. I am merely passing on his wisdom. My late husband attended Glastonbury many times and I know in the early years he took drugs and succumbed to the flesh (before we met). He last attended Glastonbury in 2007, he was taken one week after his return. He was only 59. Whilst you may not think you live a decadent lifestyle and music isn't bad per se, I myself am fond of Lena Martell and Foster and Allen, a lot of trouble does follow it around.

It's too late for my husband to repent, it's not too late for you.

I am sorry I find your comments offensive. Do not preach to me about Bishops know a lot. Condemning people who are just going to go and enjoy themselves. I can not believe what you said about your husband being to late to repent. He might not have wanted to, he might have been HAPPY. How you can believe what you are told by the Bishops and clergy when they are being arrested for child abuse. They and you have no right to tell us how to live. As long as we do no harm to each other or other living things on this planet then we should be able to live as we want . Rant over Love and Peace to you.

The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want

He maketh me to lie down in green pasture,

He leadeth me beside still waters, he restoreth my soul.

He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his namesake

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death

I fear no evil, for thou art with me.

Thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies.

Thou anointest my head with oil, my cup runneth over

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life,

And I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

I don't have a problem with a god type figure. I do have a problem with religion controlling and making millions of people's lives utter hell on earth, and I do have a problem with idiots like you parroting what you've been brainwashed into thinking.

You could also add all the needless wars that have taken place over the years in the names of various Gods that have costs thousands of lives and the sort of idiotic beliefs that some have in their religion that makes them strap a bag of explosives onto their backs and board a tube train believing they will be rewarded on the other side.

"Told you" was a follow up to my previous post about Bono. Glastonbury, and similar festivals, are quite obviously places of decadance and debauchery. That appears to be the attraction for a lot of people.

It's because I have a love and affection for you people (my husband was one) that I am drawing your attention to the downfalls. Even if you, as many of you are, are decent people, by attending you are facilitating the continuation of sin.

Watch this clip and pay particular attention to the last sentence.

    • I wonder if he's going to get into the States for the second match against England. Seems a bit weird having players missing for certain matches but not others as the world cup moves around.
    • Quite lucky as I’ve no interest in Halsey at all so I’ve got time for some food and drink before getting in there.   But yeah… thinking I’ll have to leave early to get a decent spot for Gorillaz
