Hello. Also doing BD (for fourth time) but, although i read the forums a lot and speak occasionally, have never met anyone. Will try and say hello to people at this one though depending on arrival time and plans of my fellow campers. (Also would find aging hippie look easy to do. :D )

I love meets at any time and any place so shall make sure that we are as obvious as we can make ourselves without being too obvious (this is BD afterall) and be in the as near as possible correct place for meeting. Fluoro flags wont be coming tho.

I know from last year, it was a bit loose in some sense but there will be folks with Efestivals tees on in that Hope Tavern area at whatever time we say its all going to happen and it certainly seems there is quite a gang going this year too.

The Main Stage Beer Tent (Hope Tavern?) isnt hard to find. Its the big long white tent at the top right of the main stage field (if you have the stage behind you).

No doubt there will be folks other than Efesters around so perhaps...we might want to pop some mugshots up on here to help folks that dont know the faces of the people that do know each other already maybe?

If you clicky on my profile...that is me...the one caressing the pint of Burrowhill lovingly :D I'll prob be wearing a red Efests tee with tassly beaded sleeves.

Drunk in Public is a band made up of three of the Levellers and Rev Hammer, they have toured doing very small pub gigs mostly low key not usually advertised much, they used to open the festival but havent for a couple of years.

The last few years its been the Levs acoustic which is the full band but quieter they play in the big top at 3ish I think then the full electric version of the band finish the festival on Sunday night.

Tried to meet up with efesters last year and made contact okay but my friend, who joined us for the fest, got taken ill (chronic hayfever that she didn't even know she suffered from) and I ended up having to dip out of a fair bit of stuff. However, this year I shall don the T-shirt and lurk near the tavern after the acoustic gig. I think I missed out on it last year - got bogged down with tent-putting-upping. Cheers - see you guys there. :D

    • It'd be new album stuff if it were to happen I think.  First 2027 headliner in the bag also?

    • Hilarious to describe this as suprising, for the guy who can't afford to go on holiday, the guy who goes on holiday is rich, for the guy who goes on holiday, the guy who gets 3 holidays a year is rich, for the guy who gets 3 holidays, the guy who stays in 5* hotels is rich, for the guy who stays in 5* hotels, the guy that flies business class is rich, for the guy who flies business class the guy with a private jet is rich etc..   I think one of the greens video's that they put out that went viral, Zacks description of "the rich" covered 12 people in the UK.
