Bez's Acid House

Did anyone get to Bez's Acid House? It was one of the highlights of the Unfair Ground and Saturday night/Sunday Morning from 2am onwards was complete mayhem and packed but great fun.

Tunes were amazing lots of old school rave, smoke machines, strobes, great atmosphere but best of all Bez was just hilarious being himself and shouting 'GLASTO!!!'

Hope it's there next year too

oh man I ddid mean to...I looked at the lineup and it looked pretty good (can't remember it off hand) , I wandered past it, but ended up somewhere else

Yeah, I went in a couple of times. The tunes were great and the place was pumping, but f**king hell, the strobing was insane. lasted about 5 minutes before it sent me mental.

I did but the sound system was awful I couldn't stay in there too long as it did my ears in, it just sounded distorted... What a job tho! Here you go Bez, how about hosting your own rave and spend a weekend f***ed down at Glasto! Nice

Had a look in there at one point. someone was playing Hardfloor - Acperience one of my fave records, I enjoyed it for about 10 minutes but the strobe was freaking me out a bit so had to move on :b

i had a look round the unfair ground a few times, never went into bez's acid house though. it sounds good but i don't really like strobe lights.

Think we must have hit it at a bad time - wasn't that packed and the sound was awful when we went in so didn't stay long. But heard from lots of other people it was good ... was kind of hoping for some Happy Mondays secret shambolic set !

The strobe was mental wasnt it? They threw it on for Stakker Humanoid with Bez shouting "On the edge! On the edge!" over the P.A. repeatedly. Genius.

We spent a good few hours in there on Friday night right up until it closed. Took me back to being about 16 (I'm 37 now) One of the highlights of the festival for me

I was in heaven on bloody earth. Walked past as 2.30am on Friday just as Papua New Guinea got dropped swiftly followed by LFO and I quite simply just couldn't go anywhere else from then on.

Chewing my face off, off my nut completely, hugging the speakers, largeing it in ways I haven't done in fecking donkeys years...I died and went to Lucy heaven.

Repeated this process the following 2 nights

The London Underground was a rather fine club at that big block of flats with the train. A very good size if a bit sweaty.

Loved the look of it but never made it in, so much stuff to see this year but next year I want to have a look in all the venues. It sounded immense.

I'm gutted I didn't check out that area, sounds amazing.
