Glastonbury is rubbish

I have been reading a lot about this year's festival and how it was one of the best ever, going to go down in legend etc. This seems to have had the effect that now everybody in the world wants to go next year.

I thought I would do all you Glastonbury virgins a favour and let you know that Glastonbury is actually rubbish. I went this year, and I genuinely think you would hate it.

My advice to you all is don't even bother registering. Don't set that alarm on ticket day. It really is not worth the stress of trying to get tickets. Just enjoy it on the telly from the warmth and comfort of your own home, you'll thank me!

As for the few Glasto veterans on here, I am sure some us will be willing to buy a few festival tickets just as to not hurt the feelings of Mr & Miss Eavis. But don't worry about us, we are experts and are willing to take ticket day stress for the team.

Now, get these silly ideas of trying to get Glastonbury 2011 tickets out of your head and think about something else instead. Like cake?

I'll tell people I live here, just around the corner from site and I'll tell them, they really ought not to come to these ere parts as we have been infested with something or other and that if you come here, you will start to talk funny within 30 mins of arrival and you will start to stalk about Turnips a lot!

Oh yes, absolutely, it was terrible, forget everything you've heard, we were up to our necks in mud, they had to bring in heavy machinery to drag us out of it and everyfing. My tent was full of horrible insects which bit me to hell and the cows escaped, trampling everything in their way and eating my clothes Don't go!!!!

YEh totally agree. Went to my first Glasto this year and totally would not go back again. I wouldnt advise it to anyone. Ill buy a ticket next year I spose *sigh* just coz I want to urrrrm. ummmm. Keep it clean for the cows?

I heard there was a radiation leak from Hnkley point and the area around Pilton is unihabitable.

Its not worth the risk.

Reports are coming in that 'pilflu' is 50 times worse than that pigflu that was going around, it was rife at 2010 Glasto but is said to reach double numbers for 2011.

Goverment officials are advising people to 'stay clear' of the area in 2011.

I went through the resale ticketing fiasco and all for nothing, as I got one. Absolute pap, I left on thursday morning and went to sainsburys shopping, there selection of PS3 games was ace not to mention the superb variety of food. Some of the pasties were amasing, not to mention the free car parking.

Glastonbury this year was terrible, it was too hot for starters. I don't want sunburn or to be forced out of the sauna of my tent at 7am, not able to sleep during the day, and when I try to sleep in the evening there's a sodding rock band blasting down my ear.

Next year I'm going to Butlins, at least they've got a swimming pool and cool rooms.

It was just rubbish... the first year I've been, mainly because everyone on here said it would be brill, and it wasn't. Gutted that I wasted my money, my time, my family's time, my work colleagues time, my cats time, and even the time of shrimpy in the fish bowl who I regaled tales of daring do to about what would occur in Pilton.

I'm never going again, and hope that anyone reading this doesn't waste their time in trying to buy tickets this year. They'll never sell out anyway. Go to V or Latitude, or anywhere else really - they're all really good.
