I was surprised at how many people from here I had seen/met 'in real life' that did not look at all how I had imagined they would look. Funkyfairy and I had this conversation when we met at the efests 2nd world cup.

couple of my surpises were...

Neil...thought he would be skinny with olive skin

llcoolphil...thought he would be blondish

Lots more...but can't remeber the names.

Discriptions, wrong or right from anyone else?

ps...wanted to see what 'Langsdale wolf' looked like but never caught up with him, I have a def pic in mind of what he 'should' look like :)

Ace post Ms Pilton. :D

It does happen doesn't it? Tbh, Funkyfairy was even more lovelier than I imagined.

But despite having met loads of Efests lovelies over the years, I didn't barely recognise or know most of the players in the footy teams.

I met someone who posts on here sat around a camp fire in the green fields about five one morning,he told me his username and i can remember thinking he didn't look like the picture i had in my minds eye of him. Turned out to be one of the nicest people i met all festival. From what i can remember his wife had bought him a ticket for his 40th birthday present and he was stopping in the campervan fields.

I'd already seen a pic of Lucy, which turned out very handy as it gave me somebody to head too!

And thanks for the sticker :P

Met a few, although not many as had to head off over to other side of the site for 8ish, but everyone was just lovely!

Obviously nobody looked a bit like I'd expected, but there weren't any huge shocks

Peace x

I don't think that I will every have such a big shock as I did in 2008, when I met Pezzypops and then spent the rest of a very drunken cider bus meet telling him that I couldn't believe he was a boy!! Was convince pre-Glasto 2008 that he was a girl!! Poor pezzy!!:D

Well Pogo looked just like his photo which I had seen on here somewhere, which was handy, coz I couldn't initially see a flag or anything at the meet. Hope I didn't bend your ear too much on the Friday mate (or anyone elses for that matter). I too am generally hopeless with names and faces. Add pseudonyms and avatars to the mix and I am well b*gg*r*d.

I was there for a bit on the Wednesday night.

I'm about 6'2", really well built, tremendously good looking and normally followed around by a long line of beautiful women.

Did you see all the females around the site wearing bikinis? Well that wasn't just because of the heat. They were trying to show off to me.

If I'm honest, it was a pain trying to get a beer with them all buzzing around me.

We didnt make the Wednesday night as we had the Children.

That must be so hard trying to get a beer when all the beautiful woman in Bikinis keep pawing at you, next time get one of them to get you one, poor you, I feel your pain

aye sometimes i've got a totally different image of what someone looks like and it's dead weird when they look different.. it feels like they've conned me in some way

Sorry again for the way I greeted you at the Cider Bus

I love the putting faces to names bit. Apologies to those I met, thinking it's for the first time only to be told we've met more than once before! And as always it's fun to catch up with old friends. :D
