the hometown team beating liverpool! doesn't matter though, liverpool are the most deluded fans i've ever met, always regarding themselves as a "big team" thinking they're back in the 80's.

I heard a lad today ranting "this is a f**king disgrace, we're one of the big four!". Quickly informed him that "big four" teams are in the champs league, with city's spending clout and tottenham having made the signing of the summer (By some distance), and torres seemingly cropped again, Liverpool fans should be hoping they'll make it into the europe at all, they barely got in last year!

do you not think roy is being a bit premature saying theyre in a relegation battle? i know you've been bloody awful but there is no way in hell liverpool will get relegated! i know leeds did and i know newcastle did, but just can't see it with liverpool. as much as i'd love to see it (or any of the big teams btw)

Playing shite and still in the top 3. Feeling pretty good actually! :P A lot better than Arsenal and Liverpool fans anyway. And defo a lot better than Arsene "Denial" Wenger too.

yet Arsenal played great AGAIN yesterday, something that Utd haven't yet managed this season. If Arsenal keep playing that way and Utd their way it won't only be Shitty above you.

(and despite having some major players out).

They were always going to lose tho, Chelsea are just too strong.

Listened to bbc merseyside straight after the Liverpool game, absolutely hilarious, are Liverpool fans that stupid?. Few people wanting Kenny Daglish back (hasn't managed for what? 10 years?) just because he 'understands the club', no one blaming the players, some people hell bent on blaming everything on the owners and refusing to blame the players.

As for Joe Cole  good decision you made there eh?:lol::lol: What was it Gerrard said, he's better than Messi???

Gerrard? Torres? Cole?

Liverpool (and I would put Newcastle in the same boat) seem to think there's something magical about the club that will make it successful just by having the right name on the badge. Its ridiculous. Kenny Dalglish would probably have them bottom at the moment.

On Arsenal, they always have injuries to blame, but Chelsea had Lampard out yesterday too, the difference is there's enough quality in the Chelsea team to compensate. They need to get some depth, some players who have finished their GCSEs and an actual goalkeeper.
