yep, I suspect there's a promise somewhere of letting him move in the future - tho it might be tied to any success that Arsenal have, with him staying longer if they actually win something this year.

Easy to say but a lot harder in practice. With my club for example, tickets are next to impossible to get hold of for most games, and the odd ones that are available cost an awful lot of cash. The only way I can watch Arsenal play on a relatively regular basis is to have Sky. To follow through with your idea would mean that as I truely love the game (and I do) I'd have to give up seeing my team play.
