im still with the NRNC campaign..

but if that fails ive bought a double air bed that will work as a bed/boat so if a wash out is on the cards i will be fine floating dry around the festival!!!

scorching? Glasto last year?

As i remember it was nice on Thursday then it rained and was pretty muddy.

Don't remember scorching coz i would've got a tan

Last year was pretty decent. R****d on Thursday evening through into Friday morning, stopped pretty much when Bjorn Again came on and that was that until Monday as I recall.

Wasn't schorchio, but hot enough to dry everything out - that's all right by me!

Last year -- no mud, until the downpour Monday morning early hours.

Yet the press photographers managed to find some anyway. Maybe they brought their own in buckets.

My face got sunburnt last year on the saturday,I did not really notice until random people started laughing at me in the early evening!

I had left my sunglasses on all day so when I took them off,I had a big white mark where they were and the rest of my face was lobster red!

I suppose being filled with beer and cider numbed the pain!

I know glastonbury is big, but I didn't realise it had variable weather zones

Last year my memory is: Baking wednesday, I got sunburned and I'm dark skinned by nature, Thursday really nice, intermittent cloud, cracking storm early evening, rain in the night through to mid morning friday when the sun came out, pissed down for a bit late sunday night and again dried up pretty quickly.

I came back a cracking colour and pissed everyone at work off, as did my lobster shaded pale friend.

Given the abysmal weather forecast for this years festival has anyone got any suggestions, aside from shooting up in your tent, for making the whole experience more bearable?

I reported this thread to the mods but they haven't deleted it yet. I have literally never been so offended by such atrocious language. It's bad enough that some don't self-censor the R word but to actually use the phrase "wash-out" (I feel wrong just typing it) makes my skin crawl.

My tips for the OP: Grow a spine, man up and strap on a pair. FFS.
