When it's eaten its own paw? I dunno, I don't think its at all news worthy. It was a shitty thing to do. She shouldn't have done it. But I just don't see it as news worthy. And certainly not being broadcast on the evening news in a country on the other side of the planet. Like I said. Bit ott.

These two really are disgusting, sure he might not mean it oir whatever, but it just says it all, that guy and his girlfriend just have no respect for anyone else, as long as they can sit at home watching jeremy kyle, smoking l&b and drinking special brew, while we all pay they don't give a f***

on a more cheery note though

yea i agree, it did call 911 and do what it should..but still

that's pretty cool being able to view it live, and being alerted and able to phone 911 yourself,

All this talk of a mosque near ground zero was always going to cause tension and hostility, which may not be reversable imo .

Why not just build it somewhere else, and avoid alll the aggro!

Because under the american constitution and New York zoning laws they have every right too.

And how close is too close?

And why should they have to compromise because of other people's bigotry, as shown in the story you linked to and the one about the mob turning on a guy walking through (to get to the actual ground zero where he is working on rebuilding) whose main crime was being black and looking like a potential muslim

    • It was great, but I don't know why they continue to play Wide Lovely Eyes and Rings of Saturn, which are the weakest of the tracks off both PTSA and ST. Well, I do. It's cos they're about Suzie, so he can sing what he wants. They're the low points of the set. The rest is ace.
    • I didn't this time, but I've seen them before and just because you saw both that night doesn’t mean you can compare them. The Stones were great, but.you didn't think so and you went somewhere else looking for a good time and you found it. For whatever reason you didn't like it, but you were an outlier and all the reviews said they were great.
    • Annie Lennox could be the one to unite the whole forum, nobody has a bad word to say about her, even noted curmudgeon Skip 😄 I'd probably even amble along for a bit meself, and i'm also a miserable sod
    • If the below link works - thats interesting.   While I don't particularly put much stock in that account as a source (never seen it before though, tbf), and I can pick a hole or two (see below) in what he says - the timing of it is a week before I had the Fontaines '27 stadium info (same stadium he says on there, Tottenham). The info, or part of it, matches up.   Holes I'd pick: I'd have to watch again but I THINK he says 'end of year' for Tottenham - not possible, for a number of reasons, though he's probably just got his words mixed up there. It's Summer '27, or that's what I've been told. He also says Glastonbury is/would be based on how the album does. That doesn't stack up to me, unless it was a 2028 thing. I suppose that could stack up, i.e a verbal agreement for 2028, but still seems a bit of an odd approach. I would personally still expect it to be 2027 alongside the stadium gigs, IF they are gonna do it, though I've still not got a Scooby when the album is gonna drop, only that the tour is due for Spring (or early) next year.   Interesting, nonetheless.   https://www.instagram.com/reel/DaOB3Q9qkwW/
    • I was hoping that they would just do a tour like they were set to in 2020, rather than having Download as their UK appearance. If they are at DL, I would be surprised to see them headline. I think they sub under Deftones or SOAD
