Volcanic Ash

What if the volcanic ash situation in Iceland was due to get really bad around the time of Glastonbury; would it be enough for the festival to cancel? Or would it still run but with an emergency back up of artists from the UK or Europe? One would assume that the organisers have thought of this already? :P

The volcanic ash is only effecting certain areas at a time. Meaning that you can still fly places, but you may have to take an extra long route to get here. And then getting to the UK isn't too bad from Europe as you can get a boat. If the bands really want to get here they will find a way.

Don't panic.

The Azores High will be sitting right over us and we'll be enjoying the hottest, dryest festival since 1995.

This means the winds will be coming from the south and the volcanic ash will be several thousand miles north of UK airspace.
