I'll get a good 6 hour sleep & we're meeting for a traditional McDonald's brekkie at half 6 Weds morn, then off we go :P

Mine starts when I finish work on Thursday 17th, and it's a fairly epic 2 weeks off work too! Big Session Festival Friday-Sunday, off to Dublin & Belfast on the Tuesday & Wednesday, flying back and at Glasto by 11am (alternative options in place for overnight ferry should the ash be a problem!), after Glasto am off to Berlin and Amsterdam for a couple of days each. No holiday from work then for an age!

Finsh up on Friday 18th and don't start back work until Monday 5th July. :P

We're setting off from around the Glasgow area early on the Tuesday morning and staying the night before in the Travelodge in Taunton. On the Monday after we're staying in the Travelodge in Glastonbury before driving back up the road on the Tuesday. :P

Collect caravan on Monday 21st, leave Sheffield on Tuesday, not sure what time yet as this will depend on when we can have access to the campervan/caravan fields. Leave on Monday afternoon, drive to Salcombe in Devon for a further weeks holiday where we intend to go canoeing, so anyone spotting a car with a Canadian canoe on top, don't think we have brought it in case of heavy rain at the festival! :P:P

    • World Cup 2026: What is happening with ticket prices? - BBC Sport   Sounds like Infantino has been learning from his buddy if he's running around claiming its all sold out while quietly dumping tickets below face on assorted secondary websites.
    • Mac DeMarco also cancelled
    • I'm British so it very much would apply for me.   I mean, it's a moot point as I don't have tickets so will not be in town for this, but I've heard reports of lengthy queues and given I remember Lisbon Airport having a long queue at arrivals even pre-EES when I went in 2023, I seem to guess it might be quite the wait, depending on flight paths.   Certainly, the worst I've had pre-EES was a 45 minute wait for a stamp at Valencia Airport in Spain, where 4 flights to non-EU destinations in quick succession were placed one after the other. So I can't say I'm enthusiastic about what's in store. Or you know. Maybe I'm just overthinking it.
    • Out of interest keep seeing messages saying last 12 hours etc… to buy you full weekend tickets.  Whats that about? Do they take them off sale early?
