Seeing that there is no one thread for lobbing in camping equipment deals thought I would start one.

Heres mine...

Its a self inflating mattress from Amazon and its 70 quid off,

10 cm think once inflated and not to large once deflated.........

Still bloody expensive IMO. Pretty sure the one that MikeyB37 recommended me last year was around £15, albeit slightly thinner.

Now, for my first fest this year (BT FTR). my mate last night asked if he could share a blow-up double matress with me? I was planning on using the single matress and he could sort himself out. Just comfier, no problem sharing but it means less turning space etc.

So I was thinking, invest in another single matress that he can borrow, and which has good value for me in the future, or just have a closer weekend with the mate?

10cm thick is nicely thick though. Not parting with my head-earned for it, mind. My single matress is about 3cm thick, plenty of space for two, but whether I can be bothered to go buy another is the thing. Then again, have I a working double that doesn't deflate overnight. Job for the weekend.....

I went in Lidl this week and bought one of their self inflating mats

It just doesn't inflate very much so, just like my outwell a couple of lung full breaths were added, this didn't really help much!

I'll try it out at BT and see how it goes, if it's uncomfortable then I think I'll have to get another outwell for Glasto.

Quite a lot of camping stuff in at the moment.

it looks excellent for a self inflating mat, been looking for another as mine's only about 3cm when inflated and feels little better that lying on the ground !

I can't cope with thin mattresses, tried last year and woke up in all kinds of pain, had to go and buy a proper airbed in the end.

They are not light rach but certainly not heavy. A bit of a pain to carry around at times especially trying to get the thing back in its carry bag - but ideal if you just gonna go and sit somewhere for a few hours.

Have loked on the label but there is no weight listed.

If you can do without the back support there are plenty of fold down stools.

Yeomans for example... three quidish and they weigh probably les than a third of the chair..
