No Bones Jones is run by some friends of mine :P. Found on the track between West Holts and the Queens head stage. Just on your Right after going over a little bridge. Lovely place!

i've not found a veggie place at glasto that i wouldn't return to!l.

garlic kitchen is cheap as chips, spent quite a lot of time under warning from health and safety a couple of years ago. yep, you can get an egg and mushroom bagette which will fill you up for ages, but as they also serve meat i'm not sure all the impliments / grills are keep separate for meat and veggie stuff.

OP - you will be spoilt for choice at Glastonbury! :P

Am a vegetarian & I think I spend more time eating yummy food than I do watching bands! Head up through the green fields area for the best (in my opinion of course!) esp Manic Organic & the Thali tent.

I've always found the food at Manic Organic or generally stuff from around the Green Fields to be the most enjoyable and best value for money. Avoid getting a veggie burger from the grotdog/burger vans around the main stages, the kind that do all day breakfasts etc too. They tend to be mushy horrible things which are cooked on the same hot plate as the beef burgers.

Goodness Gracious organic tofu burgers are absolutely yummy. The burgers have nuts and grains in them and come in a lovely wholemeal bun with loads of their 13 ingredient salad. First had one years ago as a kid at Reading and I look forward to them almost as much as I look forward to Glasto, have even thought of asking if I could have some uncooked ones to take home! Meat eating friends think they're delish too and they're suitable for vegans! There's usually a big queue for the falafel too.

I know glasto is the mecca of diversity, so i'm not doubting that their is good veggie food

But what is the best?

And what should be avoided?

Yes to PieMinister, a very big YES. They do something called a Heidi Pie - which has sweet potato, roast garlic, goats cheese and other things in it - it is freaking awesome. And yes it's in the Jazz World (IT'S THE BLOODY JAZZ WORLD STAGE) general area. Also, there's an excellent place near T'Other Stage (as you're walking towards Jazz World I believe) which does incredible breakfast things (ie. veggie sausages, eggs, beans, tomatoes, mushrooms etc in a baguette) - called Veggie Heaven I think, and it's easily the best thing to start your day off. You won't actually need lunch or anything. There's also a falafel place near the Dance Village I think, and a place that does both veggie and regular/normal/dirty/meat-themed sausages and mash in a giant yorkshire pudding. Absolutely incredible.

Yeah. Have fun! There's more veggie food here (there?) than down the highstreet.

I'm a vege and part of the glastonbury experience is the food. Although I find if you stick to a hot n spicy cider form breakfast, your set up for the day ;o). My meat eating friends go vege for glasto as the variety of food is so awesome and there is less chance of any nasty side effects
