Pyramid Sunday, Faithless then Stevie Wonder I reckon.

I used to be a massive U2 fan, my first ever concert was on their Joshua Tree tour. I've seen them a further 4 times last time being about 4 years ago. Not sure that I'm going to bother with them at Glasto though tbh

The footie on Wednesday will be huge. Suspect U2 will be the biggest of the three headliners. Coldplay opening the Pyramid could well draw a giant crowd but imagine it will be kept 'secret'

Given that they officially hold the record for the biggest Pyramid and JazzWorld (West Holts) crowds I would be prepared to gamble that Levellers will have the biggest crowd EVER at the Glade on Sunday night.

There were a huge number of people who went and left that gig - The back of the field was just people trying to get to other things. They were much better in 2007 on the Other. And it wasn't the biggest crowd. The Levellers in 1994 was apparently (bear in mind that all figures are innacurate because no-one was counting fence-jumpers and tunnelers!!!) despite there being many less tickets.

    • Sun's out today. Can feel the hills calling. Time to ramp up the energy levels. I've been easing my way in gently the last 2 weeks with the likes of Hayley and Lael Neale and Cut Worms and Maria Somerville etc. Time to unleash some Shame, Mogwai, Place to Bury Strangers and especially Wednesday and Mannequin Pussy.  Also, just back from a brilliant night in Belfast at the Fleadh Ceoil so anything with a fiddle or a whistle or a squeeze box is drawing me like the Sirens. Madra Salach with the volume up. COME ON!!
    • My Orange car park ticket turned up today. The envelope looked like some kind of junk mail offering me a loan so I nearly didn't open it!
    • There is a bunch of TBC acts on Deftones day, according to APE insta. The obvious guesses are Fiddlehead, Nothing, Dynamite and Make Way, "Outbreak" artists playing the night before. The question is more about how are they are gonna fit in on three big stages.    is
    • SURELY Reel Big Fish will be here?
    • Sam Fender, Harry Styles, Sabrina Carpenter is a very bland set of headliners. Commercially successful and makes plenty of sense, but it wouldn't be very inspirising. That said I want a band like Green Day to headline so who am I to say what exciting is.
